  1. Past hour
  2. Played about as many minutes as Ralston this season.
  3. Couldn’t agree more. Rushing him back when he will clearly not be match fit and the prospect of coming up against someone like Leroy Sane & Jamal Musiala is not going to be a pretty watch one bit as they will just run riot down our right hand side up against a player that has been on the sidelines with a bad injury for well over 6 months. Also for someone that hasn’t kicked a competitive ball in 9 months brings the risk of that injury reoccurring if you rush him back way too soon - that for me is the last thing I will want and I’m sure Clarke will think the same.
  4. The squads are so big, there is a case for taking Hickey for the experience given he will be a mainstay in years to come. Even if he made 3 subs appearances, it could make the difference.
  5. Surely us having poor options upfront and in net is the very definition of having a limited squad. Our centre back options are limited as well. We have real quality in midfield and the full back positions and Clarke manages to get the very best out of guys like dykes and hendry etc. Clarke doesn't get the credit he deserves. Not only that but he's actually been loyal and not just used the job as a stepping stone.
  6. Today
  7. Cheers Slasher. . . . . . go on admit it, you've a wee soft spot for our ancient auld club ?🤣
  8. Just catching up cheers TP 👍hopefully he stays and has a rebuild during the summer with his first pre-season with our club.
  9. Fucking belter DTS 👍, glad you missed out the 'Salt n Sauce' 🤣
  10. I'm relaxed about tomorrow mate. I'm not getting overly carried away, as in the past, we learn not to get to confident. To be fair though, if Celtic get an early goal, and keep pressure on Sevco, it will be a long afternoon for Mr.Butland.... Clement was so very cocky when Sevco were 5 points in front of us, that's the difference between him and Rodgers. Rodgers knows how to beat them.....Would love to fuckin batter them if I'm being perfectly honest though.... Vermin !! Hail Hail Slasher....👊👊👊
  11. - The SG is held to a much higher standard - WM break / don't play by the rules - UKG lie continuously and ridicule It's long overdue that we play them at their own game. Disruption is required, whilst simultaneously evidencing the above
  12. Even if he's fit there is a risk of the injury recurring if he comes back too soon so I can understand Brentford not playing him. If I were Clarke I probably wouldn't take him as he hasn't played a competitive match since October. He'll be way off it if he somehow miraculously plays. The only real question is Ralston or McCrorie. It will be Ralston if he plays before the end of the season for Celtic.
  13. Kieran Tierney says he expects to leave Arsenal this summer and when asked about where he'll go said: '“I could see myself playing in Spain or Italy. I love La Liga. It’s a great league and I’ve enjoyed this season a lot. I don’t want to be jumping about to loads of different places, though. I want to get used to it and adapt to it so I can kick on.”'
  14. I suspect we'll see Hickey called up for the friendlies and they'll make the call then on if they think he's fit enough to go to Germany. Frank has been fairly pessimistic about Hickey's chances for a while, even when Pressley was being positive about it.
  15. Aye, but the 45 mins could be a car crash. 9 months out is a long time not to play football. Look how not playing regular (never mind not at all) has affected Patersons game and even Billy Gilmour when he wasn't getting picked for Brighton dropped a level. Just think to throw Hickey straight into the euros is such a risk and Clarke isn't exactly known for taking a gamble. Hickey is obviously a really good player but a Hickey who hasn't played in 9 months could be a different story altogether.
  16. I don’t want to go down a rabbit hole over a penalty claim from months ago. You’ve got your opinion and I’ve got mine, let’s leave it at that. That would be nice and it’s possible if we are clinical but I think it will be tight.
  17. There is a huge psychological advantage in that Rangers have to win, and Celtic don't.
  18. It's baffling that anyone can watch or listen to him and think "he represents me" 😳 There is a lot of assumptions I think still about the parties and what they stand for based on historical perception/policies. Particularly the older generation, thinking that the Tories are about working hard and getting somewhere off your own back. Not sure if they ever were and all the corruption and eagerness to cut corners while avoiding responsibility is just more blatant now. Labour saying they'll scrap Rwanda and divert money to a smuggling squad still doesn't address the root cause of it all. I know this is all a bit off topic but if these issues feed into folk's voting intentions then it is all relevant to independence.
  19. Might do then thanks, I've heard the Bob Mortimer ones are good and I like him anyway so could look for those episodes.
  20. Hey, Mülheim is a very local neighbourhood but really subcultural and multicultural. I would not say it's shite, it's just not too posh. But as you say, getting from there to town with tram line no 4 is easy and short distance. You can go from Mülheim to Neumarkt.
  21. The SNP have moved away from the greens, thats what you wanted. The reason they are given airtime is because they are now attacking the SNP - see post from exile above. The Media will be all over anyone who does this. Douglas Ross is quite possibly the worst and thickest politician I have ever seen but he is always in the media because he attacks the SNP
  22. I really don’t understand why. The SNP would be far better off and more powerful if they moved on from the greens. It’s a massive distraction alienating the middle ground. I could vote for the SNP with Forbes leading, but not with the greens holding any influence.
  23. Precisely. Excuses, excuses, excuses is all it is. But lets be honest dyed-in-the-wool unionists will never change which I just do not get. I'd love to be a fly-on-the-wall in their houses when the news is on reporting the continuous Westminster shit show and watch their reaction and conversations on it behind closed doors.
  24. Agree it's good news to an extent that most of our key players won't be going into the summer fresh off of all sorts of late season aggro and cup finals etc. It really messed with us in my opinion for2022 going right in to the postponed Ukraine play off game and also getting pumped in Dublin off a shite Ireland team. The one perennial concern for me is McGregor who is a workhorse for Celtic putting up 50-60 games a season consistently. You have to wonder how long he can keep that up. On the flip side I would personally be pulling for Adams to help take Southampton to the PL and come into the Summer on a personal high and hopefully full of confidence.
  25. Me too. A 75% match fit Hickey should be better than Ralston. McCrorie for his athleticism is a better alternative I reckon but Clarke due to having Ralston in many recent squads will probably give him the chance.
