I expect FIFA will continue to release more tickets for each game at prices below face value of previous releases. I.e. dynamic pricing.

With mates for group games but will stay out if we qualify as I've plenty time off.

Bit of a wild card but if you were looking for an experienced player who is finishing the season well and has good quality in a wide position, is Blair Spittal worth considering? I kind of feel it's a bit soon for Curtis and other options are a bit of a fudge. Obviously not a prospect at 30 but I think we just need someone to do a job for the here and now. I'd be surprised if he is in the 55.

Our problem is our regular forwards dont have the versatility to play out wide, particularly if Conway is out. Bowie, Adams and Mcburnie at a push have got the potential to do it, less so the others. Assuming Doak and Mcginn start wide in a 451, you'd expect both to be subbed off at some point. Even with a 26 man squad, it's difficult to say who would come on if we keep the same shape which seems crazy. Ferguson and Christie can do a job but you'd expect them to start in the middle. Our other midfielders on the bench are very much central players. I'm not convinced Curtis has the experienced to be relied upon to come of the bench with 30 min to go. Based on the above there is probably a decent case to sacrifice Hyam or Miller to take another forward option.

Interesting, I thought it was previously scheduled for 30th May. That means it will be before the play-off final and McBurnie and Stewart's last chance to stake a claim. Perhaps intentional if neither are in. Also before the final round of fixtures in most leagues. Not sure it makes a lot of sense to tell people they have missed the cut then have to pull them back in. I don't see why he can't wait 7 days. 90% of the squad know they are going.

Fair comment. I think both is just about doable as we have players who can play a number of positions. I'd go with, 3 goalies 5 fullbacks 4 centre backs Plus Christie Ferguson Mcginn BGD McLean Gilmour Miller McTominay That leaves space for 6 forwards Dykes Adams Shankland Mcburnie Conway Bowie Would be my choices, 3 of those could potentially play wide.

Mcburnie was injured post covid and missed the Euros in 2021, he then struggled for form and our strikers were doing well hence he didn't get back in. He has undoubtedly been streets ahead of Dykes playing in the same league this season. He'll be much sharper than Dykes who has struggled for minutes. Hull win their next game he'll be playing in the EPL next season. Dykes will be league 1 or SPL.

The ball basically gets lumped up to Dykes when he plays, we don't have any recognisable tactics in this regard as far as I can see. Therefore I don't think introducing Mcburnie or others sets us any further back. The only negative not bringing Dykes is the team spirit/morale which shouldn't be ignored, I'd bring him instead of a 5th centre back.

I'd say that's more accurate and it's not positive.

I wouldn't have an issue with Shankland starting versus Haiti. For Morrocco, they are very difficult to play through and we'll need a target up front to get us up the pitch. Adams has shown he doesn't have the presence to do that against quality opposition, Dykes is out of form for club and country for a long period. I don't think Hirst is physical enough for the role from the start either. Hence Mcburnie comes into the reckoning for me.

Mcburnie helps Hull into the play-off final. I wonder if a decent performance in the final would force Clarke's hand. You get the feeling he's not quite there atm. Watching him, he looks a good option playing up top on his own compared with our other options. Works tirelessly, good in the air and the ground and an eye for goal. He could even be an option coming off the bench and playing wide as an aerial outball. Works back defensively too.

I think it varies. I can understand it not being public as it's a distraction talking about players who won't go and probably never will be in a squad. It's also a max 55 man squad. Wouldn't surprise me if Clarke named less.
-
He's kind of like that for Middlesbrough from what I've seen and starts every game. Clarke seems to like that kind of unspectacular bit reliable player. I like how Conway said he was travelling to the Euros as a fan when it looked like he wouldn't make the squad. That puts him ahead of Hirst for me.

Mcburnie totalled more goals and assists in La liga last season in what was considered an unsuccessful season. You could argue the top end of the championship is in the top 6 leagues in Europe. Probably comparable with the bottom half of Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1. Let's not pretend there is a huge gulf. Salary wise the top of the championship is probably better paid.

The goals and assists return is very poor compared to other forwards.
