AberdeenAngus
Only see a Jags/Celtic thread. Aberdeen v Killie turned into a real match. Dons should have been out of sight by half time but a mixture of the woodwork, good saves and misses meant it was never done. Killie drew level soon after h/t and gave Aberdeen a real run for their money. Dons deserved to win but I would imagine Killie will be encouraged with how they played 2nd half. Play like that for the rest of the season and they should escape the bottom 2 positions easily. Josh Magennis seems to have turned into a decent player. I notice Killie think it wasn't a corner for our 1st but then Aberdeen had yet another stonewall penalty turned down so swings and roundabouts on the decisions. Rossy
If we don't win the league, it's our home results that will kill us. The Dons were the better team but we gave away a brutally amateurish goal, and for some weird reason we gave Killie loads of room around 30 yards out.....which made for nervous moments, if no real clear chances for Killie. I'm getting sick of Jack and his completely anonymous performances. He's the captain and should be driving the team forward, but when the going gets tough...he hides. The sort of performance we had hoped to see regularly when he was with us. Also thought the boy Faubert was good - you can see he's played a high level. Makes up for his lack of pace and mobility with excellent game intelligence.
North East Loon
Barry Robson was different class before subbed, dishing out orders, organising things on pitch and some brilliant touches and delivering the corner for Taylor's equaliser. Shay Loan motm, his goal celebration deserved that alone . Just wish we didn't make things so hard for ourselves. Fair play to Killie, looked half decent and had a go at least. And where are we getting these referees from, once again he was murder. COYR

Hopefully we'll catch Celtic on an off day next weekend...
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Less than 14k at game. Aberdeen have chance of winning league for first time in decades - whats the reason for the crowds staying away?

Aberdeens average in the 80's when we were winning the league/cups/euro comps was 14/15k. That is the core of our support, without of/big euro games. Nothing has changed. adamntg
Poor support for a one team city with no competition for 70 miles in all directions. Utd and Dundee have a similar combined average in a much smaller city.

Debian
The 80s have been and gone. 13k now a days for a team chasing the premiership is still poor. Leicester are inundated with ticket requests and every game is sold out now. Are the sheep? Naw as they've no belief.
Cove_Sheep
Hamilton's win yesterday is probably a much better result for Aberdeen than it is for Celtic.

Don't think any Dons fan will argue that home crowds should be bigger especially at the moment. However going back through the decades including before the 80s the club has always had fluctuating crowds irrespective of how the team are performing. Bit of a puzzle as to why but that just seems to be the make up of our support.

There is no argument, Aberdeen has a shit home crowd, always has. Their away crowd is only big because loons and quines will do anything to escape the dump, even if only for a few hours. Squirrelhumper
Never went up yesterday which is unusual for me but couldn't face it after recent weeks. Encouraged by some of the Aberdeen fans comments. A loss is a loss though. Few big weeks ahead.

Aberdeen deserved the 3 points, but if Killie can keep the same organisation and determination then they'll have a decent chance of avoiding the play-off (or even winning it).
