TartanJon
Biggest game of the season between the two best teams in Scotland and I just can't get up for it. I've lost interest with Aberdeen this season after losing five squad players and replacing them with two worse ones in January. Hand on heart I couldn't give a about tonight. Still like to see us hump the bastards though

Given we have players with superior technical ability I don't doubt we'll create chances and score but well concede as well. Going for a 3-3 classic. Rossy
There's a weird air of 'shrugs shoulders' from both sets of fans about tonight. Strange, as it's effectively the night when Celtic could(will) win the title. The game is sold out though, more or less, so here's hoping for a good atmosphere and a decent game. Was just about to ask about ticket sales. The punters love a midweek game under the floodlights and rightly so.

According to RedWeb, there were only around 400 unsold tickets this morning.

Rossy
Interesting to see how many ST holders are unable to attend though. That's true. I know our supporters club is running a 30 seater up from Glenrothes, but I already know of a few guys from there with season tickets won't make it because of work commitments. Parklife
Can't go because I have to work until 5:30. Gutted. I don't have a great feeling about this game though. It's one of those games that I reckon Celtic might just do enough in. A draw will do them after all. 1-1.
AberdeenAngus
That's true. I know our supporters club is running a 30 seater up from Glenrothes, but I already know of a few guys from there with season tickets won't make it because of work commitments. Season ticket holders who can't make games can sell their seat via the club and get a credit towards next season. Dons fans in general seem a bit down after a poor transfer window and key injuries. Concern is that Celtic's physical approach in centre midfield and at set pieces will be be the difference. Hoping it's one those low expectations games where the Dons come up with a win though. Alan
What a downer of a thread. Would love Aberdeen to win. Keeps league interesting and Deila is struggling
Pool Q
Agree with Alan, from a neutral perspective very much hoping for (though not expecting) an Aberdeen win. A win for Celtic really will kill off any challenge (not that there ever really was one, but it is nice to hang onto some sort of pretence into the spring) awful early in the year. Even this very ordinary Celtic side will win the league by 10+ points over a full season, but hopefully things can be kept vaguely interesting for a while yet. One off games, you never know, etc.

Rossy
What a downer of a thread. Would love Aberdeen to win. Keeps league interesting and Deila is struggling I don't think it's meant to get anyone 'down'. There's a sense amongst Dons fans that the transfer window inactivity suggests that we've settled already for a fight for 2nd place rather than to try and challenge for 1st. I'm sure the players and management won't feel that way, so I'm hoping for a Dons team that will come out fighting tonight. If it cheers you up, we have a better record in the league than Celtic over the 10 games since we last played them, and we're coming into the match in fairly good form. Ach damn. I've got myself excited now....
