Robroysboy
Confirmed on Canal+ Really looking forward to this glamour freindly. No substitute for qualifying for euros but will get a flavour of the tournament by playing at one of the stadia. What could have been. DoonTheSlope
I know it's probably bollox but on that Facebook page someone said there's possibly a game in New Zealand on the 10th of June. Anybody heard anything or is it as I imagine, utter baws?
McToot
Heard similar but New Caledonia rather than Papua New Guinea as opposition.
Mazziessc
Many tickets we likely to get? 3-5k?
Robroysboy
Many tickets we likely to get? 3-5k? Capacity off stadium is 27k. 10 percent would only be 3k, but as it's a freindly might give us more ?
wanderer
Many tickets we likely to get? 3-5k? At a guess I would say something round about those figures, as game will be pretty low key probably (given Metz is in the back end of nowhere within France)
ErsatzThistle
The SFA should always keep in mind non-FIFA recognised national teams such as Catalonia, the Basque Country, Corsica, Galicia or Brittany as future opponents.. Wales played the Basque Country several years ago.

As to how much interest the French support will have in the game less than a week before they kick it off is anyone's guess.Venue is shite. At least a one stop flight and or minimum 1 hr train journey Edited January 16, 2016 by Mazziessc

At least a one stop flight and or minimum 1 hr train journey I think there is some kind of ban on venues being used for matches before the tournament starts, so probably out of their hands where they can play it. I also suspect that France will use this as their last game to try out fringe players in the squad and any new idea's (probably want to avoid any star players picking up a needless injury a week before the tournament starts). scottincarlisle
Now this is a match venue where a charter would be handy. Edited January 16, 2016 by scottincarlisle
wanderer
Now this is a match venue where a charter would be handy. Not really.... There is something like 3/4 airports with direct flights to Scotland within 2/3 hours by train/bus and a further 2 within a hour or so with flights to London. scottincarlisle
A charter into Metz-Nancy on a Sat morning would suit a lot of people.
tartanpar
A charter? Seriously? You can fly direct from Edinburgh or Glasgow to Paris and Basel and Brussels. It is hardly the middle of nowhere! A train from Paris is around 1 hour 30 mins!
