It was just that an example of the sort of more radical thinking which I think is required. Your response backs up my point that self interest is alive and kicking in Scottish football and is a major factor in holding back any sort of meaningful change. It doesn't mean just 1 club funding the rest but it surely stands to reason that any money based solution will almost certainly have to come from within the game. Your team win the league for 6/7 years running and the deal is 50% of prize money from the league and champions league/europa gets split among the rest of us. A deal you'd be happy with? And Celtic "qualified" by losing. It's insane. By the time you deduct operating expenses there's very little profit in that. You're trying to raid a cash cow that's not there! Different story in the Champions league of course but then you complain about the route that got us in the Europa league as well. I'm suggesting how the means to improve Scottish football and therefore Celtic's performances in Europe is within Celtic's gift. Not just in Scotland, but across all the smaller leagues of Europe, and probably the big ones. The game is going to end up destroying itself because of the big club's lust for money and success. This wasnt unexpected by the fans but its pretty frsutrating to see a team who are 7th in their own league beat us so comprehensively over two gemmes.Im for keeping Ronnie but some of our players need their jotters.
