... thats Strachan for you! Last season Arfield was playing EPL every week but Strachan was picking Bannan, Anya, Maloney who were not.

Strachan doesnt pay much attention to what league your playing in. He seems to pick his squads based on if the players' style of play fits his philosophy.

As discussed on here before, Dorrans is most likely one of the players strachan said he wont call up if there is not much chance of them getting a game so they can spend time with their family.

The point I was trying to make was WGS has included McDonald who has no international experience nor has he played at the top level yet Dorrans who has played from the start in 6 of Norwich's games this season in the EPL (Including the 1-1 draw awy to Liverpool is left out.

I can't understand why a player playing at the top level is left out when one playing at a lower level is included. I include Forrest in my bewilderment also!

Not particularly a fan of Forrest but for a young player who has had a lot of injury problems I think he gets some unfair criticism at times.

He's a young player with potential.

I believe Forrest may come good. He doesn't seem currently able to be use his pace and remain in control of the ball. I saw enough in the u21s to know this wasn't always the case. It may be it will take another 6 months or so to get his co-ordination back after being out for so long. Glass half full and all that.
