Scunnered
Phantom Power @PhantomPower14 57m57 minutes ago That's Corbyn in Glasgow event over. I may have missed it but he didn't mention Scotland once. I'm glad he didn't. Neil Findlay did a few times and it had me cringing as I feared it would have turned into an SNP slagfest. Findlay stayed on the right side of reasonable and Jeremy set out his values brilliantly. Always wonderful to see Katy as well
Eisegerwind
The whole Jermy Corbyn thing is beyond parody, Socialists trying to infiltrate the Labour party, before you know it we'll have bears shitting in the woods and we all know how that'll end. Serbo69
I'm currently a paid up member of the SNP but if Corbyn wins i'll be looking over policies and might need to reconsider. Never considered myself a huge nationalist but SNP have offered me a legitimate reason for independence. Any proper socialist would want the many to benefit and if that means Britain staying together then so be it. However, at the minute its pie in the sky and my money and votes stay with the SNP. If enough of the English go with Corbyn and there's a real chance of democratic change.... Independence could be on the back burner for a long long time. Scunnered
They're announcing a new leader today, that's kind of big news... Ah. But they're using it as an excuse to have a dig at my beloved Jeremy. "Corbyn can't affect Scotland as Scottish Labour won't allow it". I'm sure you can see yourself how the narrative has changed. giblet
I thought Corbyn has confirmed that the Scottish Labour will be still subservient to London HQ?

Scunnered
So would you take 8 years out of 30 Corbyn socialist rule in UK over Independence for Scotland? Absolutely. Independence is not the progressive option there.

mariokempes56
If he wins, still a big if, and he survives more than a few months, an even bigger if, then SLAB will be playing a very different tune to the London boss. Kezia is an eejit full of empty soundbites so will she do as London (Corbyn version) tell her ? Cannae see it. While I support a large portion of Corbyns policies I just cannot see it happening.
