Cove_Sheep
Zero chance of either scenario I think. Foulkes claims he went to House of Lords as he wants to see it abolished.
Toepoke
Saves him the ignominy of losing his seat next year. I'm sure he'll be fighting SCOATland's corner in the Lords though...

Stapes
Aye, the former Marxist will make a mint out of speaking shite to fat cat arseholes. It's easy being a Marxist when your parents can afford to send you to Loretto. Wonder if he'll be returning to Dalkeith any time soon? Pool Q
I met him once at a dinner party in Edinburgh about 20 years ago. He was a back-bench MP at the time I think, but had already been identified in the media as one to watch. He was a self-satisfied, arrogant obnoxious pryck, treated everyone at the table as his audience. To be fair I was roaring drunk by half-way through the evening, and the next day my then (soon to be ex-) girlfriend used pretty much the same adjectives about me. I'm fairly sure I called him a c**t. In fact, thinking about it, it might even have been his flat, in one of the side roads off Buccleuch Street near the Meadows.
