LOT / How people getting there

Just got an email from LOT amending our flight. Booked in february ! As had previous changes from them thought it was just 10 minutes. But it's an fing day and 10 minutes from arriving Wednesday morning to arriving Thursday morning day of the match. As leave Friday night makes it a hell of a long trip for less than 48 hours. How are others getting there and back ?

While since I booked it, but Sunday Ryanair Edinburgh to Riga (out around 6pm and into Riga for 11pm local time)... Tuesday Airbaltic Riga - Tbilisi (depart 10pm and into Tbilisi for 4am) and got it for around £60 earlier this year.

Back Turkish Airlines via a night in Istanbul.

Turkish airlines

Birmingham to Istanbul then Tbilisi.  Leave Tuesday and land there early doors Wednesday.

Tbilisi to Istanbul then Edinburgh on the Saturday.

They have already changed the Saturday flight creating a lengthy layover in IST which is fine as a huge airport to navigate. My experience of Turkish to date has been good.

Any seats left mate?

Yes, there's only 20 of us on a 50 seater. Coach has a toilet which is seemingly rare in Georgia so we have paid over the odds - £50 each.

We wanted to have a few beers on route without the hassle of stopping every 30 mins.

Price will come down if we get some more on the bus.
