Funnily enough, I know one that takes a different view.  Neither are probably representative of the wider movement.

Which branches are you referring to gents?

Maybe Forbes is streets ahead with the membership

They will have an idea from the number of nominations that each one has got.

Of course, that would only cover the members who can be bothered to read to the bottom of their emails, right enough. 😉

The 'Banff Brigade', where everyone in the party outside of Banff is a non-binary Furry central-belt socialist, and the 'London Luvvies' where everyone outside of the SNP Westminster bubble is a metropolitan-hating bigoted transphobe.

That did make me chuckle even though I am from the Banff and Buchan region.

Re the banff academy thing, its one of the few things loon and I disagreed on. I do believe there was the odd lunatic pretending to be a cat but I think a lot of it was made up too.

I saw that Ash Regan was proudly pronouncing that she’d got the number of nominations earlier.   It’s a pretty low bar TBF, be surprising if any candidate failed to meet it.

I nominated her yesterday.  You can nominate all three if you want.

All SNP tambers should join me in the Irish branch. We are comfortably removed from the SNP civil war, and have the benefit of already living in an independent country. We rise above the petty internecine politics of the members left behind in the backwards Old Country.

If you elect me as branch manager, i promise not to let my personal faith that Scotland is too supine and pathetic to achieve independence affect my decision making.

Set up a Facebook page, announce yourself as branch manager and you’ll get an interview from Wings if you say you like Father Ted.

As an aside, anyone know if that loony jeggit is still going, haven’t seen him being mentioned in despatches in some time.

wouldnt like to say as aaid would be straight on to head quarters to have them demonised

If I could’ve been arsed to do things like that, I’d have been onto HQ about you being an Alba member.  Since you haven’t been thrown out, it’s safe to assume that I’m not arsed.

As soon as the party starts leading the membership than the other way around, it's a dangerous road

It really looks as if the SNP cabal are shitting it big time

They must know that Yousaf is no where near as popular as Sturgeon or Salmond but they are trying to portray that he is , so much so that it looks contrived

They would  be flabergasted that the membership has possibly given them the finger

I see that rastafarian plonker is right behind him in the team photo - that should be a red flag right away

Lol if I were a member of alba, how would the party know? They wouldn’t.
