Collins11
Has to start at Euro 2020. What do people think? Edited April 13, 2021 by Collins11
RabtheBruce
Dykes has played well for us and gives us a genuine target man to play up front. He’s back scoring for QPR, which is great to see 👍

Funny the change in form, Adams is on the bench for SOTON and Dykes is now banging in goals from open play. Hopefully Adams and maybe even Nisbet (played well at Ibrox with a decent headed goal) score a few till the end of the season so there is a positive decision for Clarke to make. I'm not getting carried away with Dykes form or Adams pack of form, Adams has been on the bench for two matches only and he did come on as sub. 4 in 3 is a better return for Dykes compared to earlier in the season Having both as options is great. I'm not sure why Dykes has to start like the OP said.
breeks_mctavish
Look at this way, it’s great we’ve got 2 decent options up front now. They’re not world beaters but if you took them both out our options up front would be disastrous!
Caledonian Craig
End of the day the more of our strikers scoring regularly for their clubs the better. It means they report for international duty with spirits and confidence high which in turn increases the chances of improved performances for us. ThistleWhistle
Makes a difference arguing who is most in form rather than over who is least shit for a change
mccaughey85
Its great to see him do well for qpr. I think him and adams will be the main strikers for the next few years unless some young sensation breaks through. Nesbitt is quite good as well so the striker options are looking slightly better than before.
AndyDD
Big Lyndondowski is in rare form all of a sudden and that can only be a good thing. He'll be in the squad and in contention for the XI, but Adams will be, too. It's going to be one or the other, barring injury. Whomever else does get included can get a start in the dead rubber vs Croatia, when we've already sealed our place in the next round. killiefaetheferry
Lindinho has 6 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 games. Cracking form - be great if he keeps it going. Adams will probably get game time whilst not being a nailed on starter for Southampton but he looked capable against Spurs. If Griffiths can gain some form and match fitness over the last few games, we could have 3 reasonable options in the squad.
Burj_Alba
Just took a wee while longer with QPR to find his scoring touch but was still very decent when not scoring. Good man management from Warburton to drop / rest him for a few matches, now back and doing what strikers should do, scoring and creating chances ( check that wee chest flick mini assist in last QPR home match against Sheffield Wed, pure class, better than his goals.) To me def start against Czech Republic at this stage. Good that Adams and Nisbet are pushing him though.
AlfieMoon
Seems like his most recent national camp may have given him a bit of renewed inspiration. Would be nice to think so anyway.
gkm_vancouver
Good to see him back to scoring form again and also getting assists. Pity it wasn't a bit earlier as QPR could have made the play-offs and challenged for 3rd place. Maybe with a good Euros he still might get the eye of a Premiership club for next season
Burj_Alba
Linked with Burnley, think Dyche would be good for him as he likes Dykes' type of striker, not sure he would automatically replace Chris Wood, unless he leaves and Lyndon is a direct replacement. Burj_Alba
Like and respect this guy even more. Could have been easy to have a few weeks holiday/ break as English championship finished a lot earlier than other leagues ( apart from the play of teams) https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/international/lyndon-dykes-lifts-lid-on-secret-highlands-training-camp-with-two-former-scotland-stars-3255684
Malcolm
Assuming Fraser is fully fit, I would play dykes and Fraser up front.

gkm_vancouver
He's doing all the right things, let's hope it all pays off and he gets his reward with a goal or two to help get is through the group and a move to the EPL next season
