Radio Clyde phone in was hilarious last night. Some rocket came on and slagged off the appointment as he's got no track record. When asked he then admitted he knew nothing of Caixinha and wanted McLeish and Barry Ferguson instead! I thought the panel were going to do themselves an injury suppressing their laughter. Another caller thought it was a bad appointment because of Paul Le Guen. The only similarity they came up with was they are both foreign. They didn't like Dick Advocaat's name being brought up to prove them stupid. Some of the funniest stuff you could hope to hear. ?
Flure
Well, Warburton wasn't Scottish. So, in football terms at least, wasn't he "foreign" too?

So £130k ish.

Don't Celtic managers operate on a rolling 1-yr contract? It limits the employers liability in the event of a sacking leading to a compensation situation, and it protects the employee giving a 1-yr compensation. But a 3-yr deal? Which may have a notice or termination clause limiting any pay off. We don't know but I'm sure that won't stop the usual nonsense getting trotted out..

But what would be the point of signing a 3-yr deal if you could get sacked with only (for the sake of argument) one month's compen?

Doubt it would be as little as a month but could be limited to a maximum amount maybe. There's any number of ways to structure that kind of clause.
