Its funny seeing all these posters complaining about non scots being mentioned, at least they have some Scottish relatives unlike Rugby, look at the South African, Du Preez, he gets called up due to 5yr playing at Edinburgh so I can 100% guarantee that if he scored the winning try v England in 2-3 months he would be a king to ALL Scots. No Shaun you can't 100% guarantee. I don't care about rugby anymore for exactly the reason you have brought up, the game as an international sport is a joke and a farce, but If people can feel pride and get their kicks from watching this version of international sport then thats up to them, don't understand it myself though. Nah, about 90% of Scots don't give a shite about rugby. And the Scots who do will probably be too busy polishing their Better Together pin badges to notice any scoring. You did it on Monday when three scottish internationals scored for WBA, all because a guy said three scots scored. You knew exactly what the guy meant yet you still argued anyway. I assume you took a poll of the rugby crowd to come to the conclusion the majority arel no voters or are you just plucking stats out of thin air? Nobody said theses players were scottish, the post in question implied that three scottish internationals scored for WBA but you took it the wrong way as usual. Rugby residency qualification is 3 years not 5, it's even easier to 'sign' someone for your national rugby side which is exactly what happens. It's called the 'project player' scheme and Scottish rugby have a dept dedicated to sourcing players either eligible or who would be interested in moving with 3 year residency to represent the national side in mind. Very different to football in ruling and also in opinions from fans on if it is right or wrong.

The players you list, not to mention d.costa, for me illustrate the slow death of international football . You could well be correct about clauses in contracts with the power clubs now have, although I don't see that being a problem for Scottish players!
