  1. Past hour
  2. Watson has 60 first team games already for Killie and just turned 19. Had Lennon Miller not got inured, he'd have been at over 40 at 17 years old. Absolutely astonishing that both of them aren't in the 21s. Got more experience than players 2/3 years older than them.
  3. Even more pleased he wasn't playing now, the Red 'supporters' would be laying the result at Mctominays door all day long
  4. Labour are finished being the dominant force in Scottish Politics which they held for almost 50 years If you look at every election, national and local, in the last year the Labour vote in Scotland has not increased It hasn't even gone up through the old quisling switcheroo tactic from Tory voters What has happened is that people who normally vote SNP have stayed at home and not voted at all So yes, Labour are not finished if there is a low turnout and the SNP alienate most of their base vote And as pointed out elsewhere if there was an election now there would be another in 2026 - normally i would say that all the bleating from Sarwar and Ross is hot air bluffing aided by the Unionist media as neither really want to be seen causing a Holyrood election the same year as a General Election However as their modus operandi is now denigrating the Scottish Parliament at every opportunity at the very least Sarwar really might want it as there is nothing better to achieve low turnouts than having umpteen elections in a short space of time. Now - regaring changing leader why should Scotland be any different from England (4) and Wales (2) ?
  5. Exactly this. I also feel that we are the only nation that thinks this way but surely that isn't the case 🤔
  6. I did just default to U21s as opposed to the U19s as that's an even further gap to senior football, but I do agree players at that age who are banging around the senior set ups already for sides at Scottish Premiership level are not to be sniffed at. Long way to go though
  7. I can't see a huge amount of changes in 5 years time which I consider a good thing. Most of our best players have 5 years left in them. Even mcginn and robbo could still be playing. Guys that I think will definitely become regular internationals are, Bowat, dembele, hackney, Conway, doak, Stewart, doig. Guys I think have a decent chance are Mckenna, Watson, mebude, Barron, binks, Anderson, mullen, wilson, Leonard. Dembele could end up with ivory coast and Anderson is only on the second list because he is still holding out for England, if he wants to play for Scotland then he theres a strong chance he will. There's probably guys I have missed tbf but I think thats the main candidates for the next 5 years.
  8. Not only does it count I would say its the most realistic fridge yet ! You have a lot of miniatures, do you nick them from flights ? Dont tell DoontheSlope or he will be adding that to his air travel rant. You know i need to ask what is in the glass, Berocca by any chance? 😁 And is that a half eaten bag of crisps, surely not ?
  9. It does in the sense that if we had an election now there would also be one in 2026.
  10. Its the age old cry of every opposition party, I think you are on the wind up. I have already answered your question on why he didn’t call a Scottish election. If the rest of the UK don’t bother their arse calling an election when a new PM or FM is appointed without an election why should he ? Or do we only have to conform to everything the UK does when it suits them? Why didn’t the UK government allow a referendum when the SNP had it front of their manifesto and won the 2021 election? Here is a novel suggestion, maybe voters change their mind . You will maybe need to ask every SNP supporter that question but I personally have never felt Labour were finished. Every party has a limited time in government and the only real alternative to the SNP in Scotland is Labour. People forget and many young folk don’t remember Labour in power. Lucky them. And just to make it clear, I support an independent Scotland more than I support any political party. Labour will never have a sniff of my vote till they actually admit that Scotland is not an equal part of this union if we cannot make decisions about our future with WM approval.
  11. Today
  12. Are these part of the 36 hour travel pass or Deustchland ticket? Or neither?
  13. Three Body Problem started really well and binged the last 4 episodes yesterday - I want my bank holiday back as it's absolute bollocks by the end.
  14. Be amazed if David Watson and Lennon Miller aren't mainstays in squads by then. Watson the first Killie player since Naisy in 2007 to win the Young Player of the Year up here.
  15. depends how much tickets are left, and how many people are waiting on price drop - i been tracking 1 site, and prices fluctuate up and down a bit - but i see the same tickets there day upon day with a few outliers - 35% site fees are expensive though (one i am looking at - some are 20% )
  16. He swapped back and forward. Plays with neither now. You would think Ivory Coast is quite likely though.
  17. I thought Holyrood operated as a Fixed-Term Parliament
  18. It’s the age old whataboutery war cry from the SNP “but Westminster” Since Useless and the SNP was so keen for a general election after Johnson and Truss packed in he could have called a Scottish election in 2023 when Labour weren’t so strong. But alas he chose to emulate those he so venomously attacked As I said previously a party of hypocrites Maybe someone could clear things up for me, one minute the snp supporters are telling me Labour are finished in Scotland and the next minute labour are in a strong position
  19. genuinely very good quality - was surprised https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314878927153?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=p6f0egzrszu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=ni--kKLDShu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=WHATS_APP
  20. VAR on Sunday at Ibrox was right up there with the worth examples of how VAR should not be used. The standard of refereeing was abysmal.
  21. Didn't Killie get a penalty at RP earlier in the season, which has since been determined a mistake.
  22. Even at Ibrox that wasn't a penalty until VAR got involved. The whole point of VAR, at the outset anyway, as I understand it is not just to avoid mistakes but to also alleviate bias not cement it. There is absolutely no chance that if that situation plays out at the other end of the park VAR is pulling it back for a clear and obvious error, Kilmarnock getting a penalty and Rangers getting a player sent off especially when there's a potential Old Firm title decider around the corner. Ergo it's a farce with less credibility than WWE as it's essentially working towards a scripted outcome.
  23. It's also the same for Livramento. He's unlikely to go to the Euros this year with England because they've got a lot of choice in the right back position, but after the Euros Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier are likely to retire from international football. Livramento is even four years younger than Trent Alexander Arnold, so time is on his side.
  24. If Labour dont get a majority it will be like Celtic losing the league to a 9 man Rangers. It will take a helluva lot of disgruntled Tories to shit the bed at the last moment to bring a hung parliament IMO. But you are right, the SNP need to be prepared for the possibility.
  25. I wasn't arguing that the MLS was good defensively. I was pointing out that both leagues are pretty poor defensively. Whatever way you spin it non old firm teams have been awful in Europe. Only reason hearts and Aberdeen got European group football is because the conference league was created and even then they couldn't get out of the groups against very poor/average teams. What countries that I listed have MLS players as their highest level? Also what players from league 1 have been established internationals for Wales? I was talking about established international players not guys who make the squad every now and again. The difference between league 1 and MLS is that the MLS has dozens of established(over 20 or 30 caps) international players some of which play regularly for decent/good international teams. Christian Ramirez stats are pretty similar in both the MLS and spl. Fair play he won it with Columbus crew but overall he's a pretty average striker in both leagues. Morgan's was inter Miamis top scorer with 5 goals in his first season? I will take your word for it. Either way he was quite average at inter Miami. He's been much better at red bull. Why that is could be a number of reasons. Gauld was a proven success in Scotland at Dundee united and had done well in the Portuguese top flight before he went to the MLS. Using his brief stint at Hibs as proof he was useless in the spl is daft. Kris Boyd scored 7 in 27 for the Portland timbers at the age of 28/29. That's the greatest spl scorer ever struggling in the MLS. Kenny miller's stats are pretty average in the MLS as well. Giakoumakis goals per minutes stats are pretty similar in both leagues. He was a sub most games at Celtic. In his first season at celtic he had a goal every 86mins. As I said theres examples of guys going either direction and doing well or struggling. It doesn't prove much. Whatever way you spin it the USA and Canada both use MLS players. Just because the last squad picked didn't include many doesn't mean much. There's injuries and calls offs etc. As I said lots of decent international teams rely on MLS players. Lots of south American teams have MLS players as well. The spl outside of the old firm has very little international players. You would be comfortable in us beating Canada? We just lost to northern Ireland? Not sure how long you have been following Scotland but being confident that we would beat Canada is unwise to say the least.
