joe545
ICM for the guardian will be out tomorrow. Not sure if that means 10pm tonight or actually tomorrow
Tartan Eagle
The thing is, the "Labour Party machine" isn't working in this campaign. They're not getting the same number of folk out as they might expect during an election. Nowhere near as many. I have Labour members in my local Yes Group campaigning for Yes. What effect do you think the Ed Mili Band will have today when the 100 are parachuted in? Will they jump start 'the labour machine' and how will they be received in Glasgow? Is it true that Barr's have supplied them with 200 more Irn Bru crates? (204 if Hazel Blears is there)
mariokempes56
Is it true that Barr's have supplied them with 200 more Irn Bru crates? (204 if Hazel Blears is there) How , has she got 4 legs ?
Tartan Eagle
How , has she got 4 legs ? Naw, hind legs but just tiny wee short ones! (Bizarre moment #1 - typing this when the Pistorius story is on the radio and the judge reminds the court of him having no legs)
Tartan Tarantula
Apparently a ComRes poll out tonight as well. No idea whats happening. Could that be 3 polls this evening??
Auld_Reekie
Expect all three to show a No lead. If the full might of the establishment has been brought to heel, Im pretty sure the polls wont be showing a Yes lead.
joe545
Apparently a ComRes poll out tonight as well. No idea whats happening. Could that be 3 polls this evening?? ComRes have only sampled the border areas. Represents only 5% of the electorate
Tartan Tarantula
ComRes have only sampled the border areas. Represents only 5% of the electorate Yes, though still useful for trend extrapolation. Dont understand why they insist on doing something like this. Its the same as polling the over 65s, you know exactly what result your going to get to the nearest % point.
weekevie04
Expect 3 No leads too. ComRes - only poll the Borders/South. The lowest Yes supporting area in near enough every poll. Why not poll Dundee? ICM - for some reason they are using landlines. That doesn't sound dodgy at all, does it? No, not when Patrick Harvie was just saying recently that the trouble with landline polls is that it doesn't reach an actual percentage of Yes voters. YouGov - might as well go 3 for 3. Revertted back to form, possibly and "Brown's Devo Max plans save the day for the Union"
Clyde1998
@PaulBrandITV: Borders poll for ITV: Two thirds of voters in southern Scotland will vote No (67%) over Yes (33%). A 3% swing to Yes since June Meh...
Rossy
I think that we've always thought that 35% Yes in the Borders was not a bad result.

King Of Paisley
Mario, does the Borders not represent about 5% of the overall electorate anyway? This will be won or lost in the Central Belt and the Lothians I reckon
