DontTouchTheChaCha Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Just seen the email. Tickets on the Hampden Park app….how do they plan on stopping the harvesters? Quote

I guess the story is that even a purchased ticket if not scanned does not get you the points. Or so they say. I haven't come across any positive or negative confirmation from anyone that bought a ticket they had on the hampden app and didn't go, didn't get someone else to scan it, whether or not they got the point. Think for away games, it'll be no scan no 2 points. If not then what is the point of the whole thing. Quote

But some are drawing the line at paying £30 for a ticket which is about the going rate for a football match these days. Quote
From_Dundee_to_Ancoats Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 I imagine the £30 is due to the venue hire,stewards/not many people are going to be there. Whilst we can have a go at gibraltar for pricing there are elements of our support who have stated they are fine with paying £30 for the NI and finland friendlies. Quote
Banjo Posted May 18, 2024 Author Posted May 18, 2024 The point of the post is £30 for a ticket to watch a very poor international team. Got nothing to do with flights, accommodation etc Rip off Quote
The Bunnet Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Beer is 2 euro, and 20 Fags are 4 euro...Swings n roundabouts. Quote
N4Footsoldier Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 That's me bought my £30 ticket. I suspect anyone who has been moaning but still travelling will indeed do the same. Quote

Its literally the reason for going, will account for about 1/20th of the the cost of the trip yet folk moan. Quote
From_Dundee_to_Ancoats Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 26 degrees predicted. Superbock on the beach and prota 6 wine, nice ittle location and surely a scotland win🤣 £30 seems nothing compared what we have paid in past and pay at hampden. Quote

I don’t see the OP or myself stating that. It was a general comment, quite frankly about a relevant topic. If you’d like to get into a bun fight about costs then I’m happy to share here what it’s costing me (plus others). You can certainly add an extra zero onto your ‘hundreds’ for starters. Please don’t be so judgemental because some people don’t feel that they’re not getting value from the ticket price for what is in essence ‘a game up the park’. And that off the back of an expensive away campaign, our governing body can’t absorb some of the ticket cost as a ‘thank you’ to the loyal maddies who do attend a week before the Euros. Maybe see you in Faro for a beer over the weekend 🍻 All the best. Quote

Zenloff Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 I'd like to go. I'm flying into Faro this morning. How can I get a match ticket at this point? Last Scotland away I did was Mexico City a few years back. Membership has lapsed. Quote
Zenloff Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Just bought a ticket off the Gibraltar FA site. See ya there! Quote
