thewelk
Already a brief mention in the Italian media "I primi exit poll: a Edimburgo i sì al 52%. Lo spoglio alle 23" 52% Yes in Edinburgh http://www.corriere.it/

ibelieve!!!
Someone said on another thread that they'd been asked on their way out what way they'd voted. Though I wouldn't pay attention to them anyway.

redstevie007
You expect me to understand Italian at the moment? I can barely speak feckin English just now...
Rossy
As much as I trust the Italian press over our own propaganda rags, this just sounds a wee bit too far fetched to be true....
thewelk
IF there's a Yes win in Edinburgh it's game over I'd say.... Exactly my thoughts. Even if it is a fag packet exit poll by an italian reporter standing outside a polling station somewhere you'd never expect yes to lead. Unless it was at 1pm when only the yes minks were out voting and the Nos were all at the office. Auchinyell Sox Change
Already a brief mention in the Italian media "I primi exit poll: a Edimburgo i sì al 52%. Lo spoglio alle 23" 52% Yes in Edinburgh http://www.corriere.it/ so 52% of the 40% who actually responded (of the 60% who have actually voted) maybe
Orraloon
You expect me to understand Italian at the moment? I can barely speak feckin English just now... After independence you wont be allowed to speak English. RUK are refusing to share it.
thewelk
My Italian colleague says it comes from Forbes America It might just be a general exit poll then and they've put "edinburgh" because it's the capital. Like they do for real countries!
antidote
This is pretty hard to call. I have visited 3 polling stations around my area, two I would say are well up for YES, but the third one is a bit more harder to predict, it's in an more affluent area. I'm also hearing that some YES reps at polling stations in Fife are happy with the YES vote. Time will tell and here's hoping.

exile
After independence you wont be allowed to speak English. RUK are refusing to share it. Yeah but we won't be allowed to call it British English any more, we might just have to call it Scots!
thewelk
even if you exit polled everyone how many are still going to not tell you due to their vote being a private thing. we just can't be sure of any poll. trust your instincts. yeah, you might need to assume that the Nos would be ashamed of themselves and hence less likely to say.
