Starting XI tonight will certainly be interesting. Am I correct in thinking Logan is suspended for tonight? Pretty sure Logan is suspended for the St Johnstone game. They haven't tended to do the business when there's an opportunity to put some pressure on Celtic. You'd have to fancy them though! The pitch was apparently awful when Motherwell played there the other week, which might be a bit of a leveller.

one t in scotland
From the PTFC forum: 'My information is that the club have been requesting a pitch inspection since early morning. The SPFL refused, saying it would be 5.30 as per the normal referee inspection. They relented at 3.30.' Sounded completely ludicrous until I spotted the reference to the SPFL then it made sense. adamntg
That's four home games Thistle have had off this season. I'd seriously think about a plastic pitch.

I'd seriously think about a plastic pitch. I really hope not. Archie and Scott Paterson have both said they're not keen on that option. It's one area of the pitch the club needs to sort out. There's only been a handful of games postponed at Firhill in the seasons prior to this one. The wettest winter in recorded history has caused the problems. Remember Motherwell had major issues with Fir Park for a couple of seasons but have sorted them out without having to resort to an artificial surface. adamntg
I think all football in Scotland should be played on plastic pitches, so I'm biased. It's our best chance of developing a better style of play.
