The YouGov one last week had Scottish support for bombing at 52%.

If you ignore the fact that he doesn't support any of them.

thplinth
Does this not show an element of support/sympathy? Scunnered as Jezzer's Tamb spokesman can you clarify where you personally stand on this issue. Would you also pay tribute to the shot IRA men, like Jeremy, leader of your party and socialist demi-god? Scunnered
Does this not show an element of support/sympathy? Taken out of context, certainly. Scunnered as Jezzer's Tamb spokesman can you clarify where you personally stand on this issue. Would you also pay tribute to the shot IRA men, like Jeremy, leader of your party and socialist demi-god? The great man addressed this subject on Andrew Marr a couple of months back, as a fellow supporter of a United Ireland I was satisfied with his reasoning. thplinth
I'd rather shave my baws with a cheese grater than watch Andrew Marr.'s show What was the gist of it?
Wibble
Me - apparently. Mind you, The UK will have merely a token presence if we - as I expect we will - opt to bomb the already ####ed Syria. Still, it will all help when we sit down to share the oil spoils. Cynic - me?

Ach you missed out Plinthy, you missed a quote from the great man that will be engraved on his statue in George Square and remembered for years to come. In the face of Marr's pro government bleating: "Is it so disastrous that politics has two opinions?" I was as hard as a rock. As for the IRA section I'll need to look it out later, unlike the above I don't have it tattooed on my chest and I'd hate to do the man a disservice by misquoting. That newspaper article is pretty matter of fact. You know there was a fella on here who also used to be accused of being an IRA sympathizer. His views were roughly that 'the IRA and the British Army were fighting a war of independence. To demonize only one side as terrorists is nonsense.' Anyway he was vilified on here and hounded off the board, quite unfairly in my mind. But people like to get a head of steaming righteous indignation going and cyber lynch someone on anything IRA related. You might remember him... Anyway I think Jeremy might face a similar fate on the national stage if that newspaper article is accurate. Seems to be one thing after another. How many more skeletons are out there (or rather in there in the cupboard)? double edit: is it possible Cave-in Corbyn and Port Glasgow Bhoy are the same person?
