thewelk
Haven't got my bottle for Thursday night yet so I'm looking for inspiration. Something expensive I guess. And should it be opened and tanned during the night or only on the victory declaration? What are the rules here? Never had an independence night before! Armchair Bob
Talisker. Planning to head up Arthur's Seat for sunrise. Will probably have to be carried down. You can probably start drinking as soon as you have voted though if that is 7am it could get messy...
in5omniac
For me it's probably Glenlivet Nadurra 16YO, my go-to 'special occasion' whisky.

Donaldo87
Possibly Distiller's Reserve? or Ola Rosso? Cheers fella a quick google confirms that it was indeed 'The Master Distiller's Reserve' not a big whisky drinker - but I remember having an taste and thinking to myself 'feck me that is actually drinkable'
redstevie007
When I was best man at my mates wedding he gave me a 21 year old Macallan Fine Oak. I've never opened it as Scotland haven't qualified fir a major tournament since I've had it I think the early hours of Friday morning will be when the seal's broken

thewelk
Thinking about an Ardbeg but will see what the whisky shop has. Was in a pub in dortmund and a bunch of TA ordered a round of Ardbeg. Could smell it before I saw it. Might go for springbank just because it triggered something in my head. Someone recommended the 15yr old to me a while back!
