LewisEDI
I would go with that too, possibly go with Whittaker over Hutton though

Lion Rampant
Marshall Hutton Martin Hanley Whittaker Brown Morrison Richie Maloney Anya Fletcher Is how I think WGS will play it. The only one i'm not entirely sure about it Fletcher and he may go for Naismith istead. He's shown that he really seems to like Richie, although I think he's done feck all in a Scotland jersey. With him playing regularly for Bournemouth and having a solid start to the season I can see him playing. The only reason I think he'll go with Whittaker is that in the big games he seems to prefer him.
Mazziessc
As the title suggests; Marshall Hutton Martin Hanley Roberston Brown Morrison Maloney Naimsith Anya Fletcher As above with whittiker for hutton hes had a good start to the season - playing more than hutton (although hutton was still first pick when he didn't have a team) WGS May even surpise us and drop Fletcher for Griffiths from the get go. ScotlandFanMuir
As the title suggests; Marshall Hutton Martin Hanley Roberston Brown Morrison Maloney Naimsith Anya Fletcher I'd personally go for that but don't think Strachan will, he always gives us 1 surprise. In Ireland he changed the left flank - Forsyth/Ritchie - thankfully we got away with a draw. Would've be surprised at all to see Charlie Mulgrew start. Again, Strachan has utilised Mulgrew in most games where he has been available.
JagDude
I don't know about Whittaker, he is playing well this season but I always see him as a bit of a bomb scare. I reckon that he might actually play Martin up front instead of Fletcher.

I reckon that he might actually play Martin up front instead of Fletcher. I typically think that way. But he's played in all our best performances in this campaign. eg. Poland, Germany away, Ireland at home.
Doakes
Marshall Whittaker Martin Hanley Robertson Brown Morrison Maloney Ritchie Anya Naismith
TartanDave
As you have it although I think Strachan will be pondering Mulgrew at centre back over Hanley for this one as we may need someone to take the ball out of defence. Would also on a personal level rather Whitaker than Hutton.
John_B81
Think it'll be Marshall Hutton, Martin, Mulgrew*, Robertson Brown, Morrison Naismith, Maloney, Anya S Fletcher *Reason I think he'll play Mulgrew is that Hanley is only just getting back to fitness having missed a fair chunk of the year and Mulgrew did fairly well in Dublin. Might opt for Robertson this game and bring Whittaker back on Monday. Other than that, team picks itself (or should do).
er yir macaroon
Martin at right back isn't out of the question allowing Hanley and Mulgrew for centre of defence.

JagDude
That gives me the fear We struggle to put two centre halves on the pitch, without trying to accommodate three!
bossman4
Martin at right back isn't out of the question allowing Hanley and Mulgrew for centre of defence. No chance will GS change move his best centre back from the last 2 years to right back in such a crucial mathc. It's Hanley or Mulgrew in there with him. Up front, 2 of the 4 will defo be Anya and Maloney, the other two any from Fletcher, Griffiths, Ritchie and Naismith. Naismith and Fletcher have worked well together so far this campaign but haven't had much game time this season, I'd expect at least one of them to start though. Decent options all round I think. Robertson to start at left back given his performance against them at Ibrox, think Whittaker may drop in there for the Germany game. Hutton will play in at least one of the games. Bzzzz
Please not Steven Fletcher. He's not getting picked for a very pish Sunderland team and he's been extremely wasteful through this campaign already. I hate to say it as he's a shitebag but I'd go Griffiths on form alone, play him up front with Naismith behind him. It really is the only option on form. Got to say tho, Parklifes last post is spot on, couldn't have put it better myself...

I think the first half will be tight without many clear chances therefore fletcher will be better at holding the ball up to try and get us up the pitch, if griffiths starts he could end up isolated against a 5 man defence running about with not much input, better coming on in this game later on when it gets more stretched, would start him if we were at home though Edited September 3, 2015 by LewisEDI
rosscarnie
How come nobody is picking Darren Fletcher in their teams? I know he was muder against Qatar but he is a very experienced player and played on Saturday Edited September 3, 2015 by rosscarnie
