Dodger Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 The two games last week were crying out for Adam imo. We had so much possession and lacked a killer pass, which is one thing Adam can do. Could be useful in Georgia and Gibraltar games. Can certainly see Bannan being involved in them. Can't agree. Against sides like that the key is to move the ball quickly and Charlie Adam doesn't do that. He's clearly got talent but I don't see where he fits into our team. He's actually been playing well for Stoke this season and probably just unlucky that our midfield is strong at the moment. He spoke well on Soccer AM last week regarding the national team. The match v Norn Ireland was a good opportunity, that match, especially the 2nd half needed someone to turn the match up. He could have done it. Also, Russell and May could be dumped for him (with the idea that Naismith, Fletcher and Rhodes give us enough forward options).
