Flora MaDonald
I (used to !) love Laphraoig. Full of peat, and an acquired taste, but a lovely drop.

Flora MaDonald
I mind speaking to some whisky high-heid geezer at an Islay gathering, and HC was his preferred tipple.
ShedTA
If you like a fair degree of flavour but not too much peatiness the Oban is a nice little number.
Exglasgowasc
Stick with the clearer speysides. Aberlour is my favourite although Highland Park from Orkney is one you can never go wrong with.
in5omniac
Glenlivet 12 is a decent one if you're looking to get into whisky. Glenlivet Nadurra and Aberlour A'Bunadh are full on flavour ones you might like too
