Stapes
You have similar figures for Labour to Tory / SNP as a split ? It wasn't publicised as Labour won, and not even sure if it would have been counted. I'll check.
hampden_loon2878
It would be interesting to see what the polls the snp have carried out have came back with
Squirrelhumper
If anything is going to save Katy it will be her popularity in the area. She was well received at the anti TTIP meeting last night which she shared a platform with the SNP candidate. In contrast to a meeting a few miles over a few months ago where hapless Donohoe couldn't speak for being booed and heckled. That's cos he's more interested in sevco. Squirrelhumper
The mans an utter bellend. Is there a thicker MP in Scotland? Probably not. The fact he's had such as easy ride is shameful.
Scunnered
Probably not. The fact he's had such as easy ride is shameful. My most endearing memory of him when he lied in a packed public meeting about supporting reallocation of funds from trident to redistributive policies: "did you vote against the renewal of Trident when the parliamentary debate came up?" "Eh...I'm not sure. I think I did." "You didn't. I checked your voting record before I came here." "Splutter splutter eh eh eh um...oh yes! My wife was sick in hospital that day!" Scunnered
I'll guess you are in a street close to the shore then lol It was indeed A later street went like this: SNP-Lab-SNP-Lab-SNP-Lab. It was like everyone was voting out of hatred for their neighbour With the Tory numbers staying static I can't see anything other than an SNP gain. thewelk
Fantastic response for Labour in Saltcoats yesterday. Along with Kilwinning it's quite the Labour stronghold That's because it's a shitehole (saltcoats). Worst place I've EVER been. In the world. Locked the car because I didn't feel safe and a minute later a junky was knocking on my window. To be fair he was just being friendly and explaining why the car park wasn't open but it did startle me. The wife asked me what language he was speaking. Second worst place is Kilmarnock. Bare in mind that I grew up in north lanarkshire and thus have a fairly high shithole threshold. Felt safer getting lost in the slums of Atlanta. Anyway, back on topic... What did the largs Tories look like? Grey brigade Tories or BMW in driveway Tories?

hunchy
Feel safer in saltcoats and Killie than parts of Glasgow or edinburgh. Can't even think what carpark you went to that would have been shut

Can't even think what carpark you went to that would have been shut Just looked on google maps, it was the car park at kirkgate/market place. The entrance was chained off for some reason. Even when I'm on the train I get aprehensive at Saltcoats because you never know what you're going to get in the carriage with you. Only other station I used to feel that was at Holytown. If I'm going to be fair though, it's a nice walk along the front to Ardrossan on a sunny day!
