That's one of reasons why the demise of the bigoted institution that is/was Glasgow Rangers was enjoyed by so many. "No one likes us, we don't care" they said. The Rangers are (deservedly) in the semis of the cup, but just because we're talking about them doesn't make them anything more than a sideshow, irrelevance or small dot on the consciousness of Scottish football. I rarely look at or comment on any thread about them on here, I have little to no idea about what's going on in their financial world, and on watching them last night I realised that I hardly knew half their players. Gallagher is decent but is an auld man in terms of goalkeeping. My jury is very much out on Archie. Really no sure about him. Seems tactically inept many times and his signings have been very up and down. No one can critise him on wearethistle without a torrent of abuse. Not half the manager McNamara was.
