AlfieMoon
Is that not very bad for ticket allocations?
Squirrelhumper
Aye 8k capacity now. Looks like stand behind goals holds 1700

AlfieMoon
I know this is me being a bit of a grumpy bastard as a result of the news, but should the SFA really be leading the email title with selling women’s tickets as opposed to the much more significant news of the venue change? Grantyboy1983
My very slim chance of a ticket has now became an impossibility like many others, what can you do?

Squirrelhumper
Aye it should be an email on its own. Especially given expense.

Of course it should. Totally ridiculous decision. Shitting themselves in case they get criticised by the right on crowd. Clowns.
drew
Would like to know what the "operational issues" are. Hopefully just a case of home attendances being that poor they've moved it and hopefully the away allocation will remain close to what it would have been. The away allocation remaining close to what it would have been is probably wishful thinking

I actually deleted the e-mail when received based on the title. Now retrieved. Piss poor from the SFA!

Me and my Dad were grumbling about that. No offence but the thing I care about was third order in that email. Should have been the first point. I was offended by the fact the change of venue for a crucial euro qualifier which thousands have paid plenty dosh to go to was well down the list of importance in the eyes of the sfa. Concentrate on your core punters (which certainly isn't made up of womens football fans). You cannae give tickets away for their games. AlfieMoon
On the plus side, Cyprus home attendances have been so low that everyone should get a ticket and atmosphere should be better in a 80-90% full stadium. Just hope the SFA get a decent allocation though. Should defo be pushing for 2 stands.

Three of my last four away games (Moldova, Ukraine and Norway) have been in the home end with Norway being the only one that was remotely full. You are right, the pitiful home attendances should be pointed out to the Cypriots and a real play to get half the ground. I think we’ve been on similar path as I seem to remember both us moaning on other threads - went all through the 00’s and decent number of games thru 2010’s, but now just struggling for points. Went to Vienna and Dublin last year but still stuck having to blag a ticket for Oslo last month. Now Cyprus is uncertain for points. It’s a bit of a pain. wanderer
3,728 (just shy of 50% of the capacity) tickets for Scotland fans. £9 and go on sale for 13+ pointers on Tuesday.
