BBC presenter accused of paying teen for explicit photos - report

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-66140356

It's not Rylan or Jeremy Vine

Unclear whether the youngster is male or female which makes it more difficult to guess who the "BBC Star" is

Danny Dyer ?

Graham Norton ?

Michael McIntyre ?

Gary Lineker ?

Alan Shearer ?

Scott Mills ?

Nicky Campbell ?

Why would you pay someone tens of thousands to send you explicit pictures when there are millions of explicit images on twitter never mind the internet as a whole ?

The person concerned was 17 so it's not paedophilia

Is that legally correct? Aren't you only considered an adult at the age of 18?

Sneaky suspicion for Richard Osman. Disappeared off Pointless  recently - a show he created.

He's been off that for a fair bit of time hasnt he? I think the article said hes still been on BBC tv so might not be him.

Has an injuction been put in place to stop the paper naming the person?

He’s also not a BBC employee.   Pointless is produced by Endemol of which Richard Osman is a director.

It’s illegal to possess indecent images of people under the age of 18.

I was surprised myself with the age of consent being 16 but happened to see some promoted ads from this group a few months ago.

From what I'm hearing the BBC coverage of the next coronation may be a bit different 🙊

Huw Edwards has umpteen weans and whilst Witchell is a creepy fuck he is too old, married and also has 2 kids

Can't see it being either of them

Does having kids stop you being a nonce?

No but when the teenager concerned is male it would be unusual

Thought it was a female?

The BBC person ? That is who I was referring to. The mum is reported a couple of times as saying they are male.

Not sure about the sex of their child though. I haven’t read anything that makes that clear.

The reports could be wrong though its hard to believe anything in newspapers these days.
