Clyde1998
Keep an eye on this would be my only advice: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/israel Something that caught my eye was: "The Israeli Parliament passed a law on 6 March 2017, which gives authority to deny entry to foreign nationals who have publicly called for a boycott of Israel and/or settlements, or who belong to an organisation which has called for a boycott." Larky Masher
Any time I've been there I've never felt unsafe though the number of off duty military personnel you see walking about with automatic weapons is a bit unnerving at first.

DavyP
I have now been several times and always felt safe...the large military and police presence is very visible in places like Jerusalem and Nazareth......but in Tel Aviv I hardly saw a copper and the only Army you really see are those going home for weekend leave....Tel Aviv is like any other Mediterranean seaside resort....it is vibrant and welcoming As a footnote...depending on the security status towards foreign nationals visiting Israel at the time of the game will depend on how big our Police escort for the buses will be as they take the security of visitors very serious and I have already talked to the Polis & U.K. Embassy about our travel plans. I remember reading someone on here or one of the Facebook pages a while back but can’t find it just now
