just needs better stewarding. no one pished should be allowed entrance to the game. no one would be served if too pished - or drinks via tokens would be limited to 2 per person or something. In saying that, hampden would be half empty at a 5pm Saturday kick off if this were to be fully enforced.

There were United fans staggering to the ground who didn't get in, and several more huckled out during the match.  So the stewarding was good, but it really wasn't pleasant.

A man in Australia talks Scottish football down.

Aye Celtic are running away with it but there's a battle for 2nd, Top 6 and relegation.

Scheduling is fine.  Majority of games are Saturday 3pm outside OF and any games moved for me then frees up the Saturday for family.

Entertainment.  Skill is better than people say and nothing beats the feeling of a goal or win.  You don't know what you're going to get.

SFA? The don't run the league.

Cost £20 with fan card at Firhill and all Under 16's free.  Good value for family.

The weather. Global warming!

I tend to agree, i still get the same buzz going to the football as i always have. It get's talked down too much. I can take it from folk down south but it rips my knitting when Scottish folk do it.

Gutted i'm missing Dingwall on Saturday but roll on Thistle at home next week and ICT away at end of the month. Plenty to play for. Try telling Killie or Motherwell fans on saturday as Boyd missed the injury time penalty that nobody cares about Scottish football.

If you're pished at the fitba you should only be allowed to perform Cup draws IMO.

If you can't attend a football match without getting drunk then you have a serious problem.

They're after exclusive rights to scottish fitba

Good news. The sooner we're away from Sky and with a company who will promote our game, the better.

He's not everyone's cup of tea but Chris Sutton regularly talks up our game:

BT should grab the SPFL rights as Scottish game is a lot of things but it certainly isn't dull - Sutton

Chris Sutton argues the case for the ever-improving Scottish game and shoots down those who ignore football in Scotland in favour of 'the greatest league in the world'.

It won’t come as much of a shock to people to hear I would be delighted if BT Sport grabbed exclusive coverage to the SPFL .

I’d argue against anyone who suggests it wouldn’t be a good thing for Scottish football.

The negotiations over the deal will be for other people but I can tell you for a fact when it comes to those producing the package in Scotland, there is a massive desire to do it properly and to give the fans something worth watching.

BT Sport has a passion for Scottish football and that’s reflected in the programmes we make. They are determined to go the extra yard to provide the best possible coverage.

Scottish football set for record TV deal as BT Sport aim to go it alone
We’ll try to capture the mood, get involved in the debate and have the discussions like everyone does in the pubs and living rooms up and down the country.

People might not agree with me, or with Stephen Craigan or whoever, but that’s okay. It’s fine not to agree and it would be boring otherwise.

Everyone has opinions but the people on BT Sport are not afraid to give theirs. That’s the way it should be.

It’s about reflecting the game, not dressing it up as something it’s not.

And that’s the point. Listen, no one is daft enough to say Scottish football is not without it’s problems. Of course there are issues.

But that doesn’t mean the game here doesn’t have a lot going for it.

Is Scottish football the most technical? No. Is it the best standard? No, it’s not.

But that is purely down to money.

There are certain things that make Scottish football unique and produce a good product to be proud of. There are some things money can’t buy.

You look at the passion, the drama, the sheer volume of stories.

Celtic may have run away with the league but that hasn’t stopped a huge amount of interest behind it.

Scottish football is a lot of things but it’s certainly not dull.

I see hundreds of games every season, all over the UK and beyond. Believe me, Scotland stands up to any of them when it comes to drama.

It’s an easy, cheap shot for pundits south of the border taking a pop. It’s uninformed nonsense. It’s people who don’t watch the game so don’t know what they are talking about and would be best saying nothing at all.

They are wrapped up in this misguided belief the EPL is the Greatest League in the World. I’ve been saying it until I’m blue in the face – it’s the richest, not the greatest.

If Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen or Hearts had access to the same money they do down there they would be every bit as big as any of them.

And they would need to go some way to make as much of a monumental mess of it like the English clubs have done in Europe this season.

The best league on the planet? Of course it’s not. There’s no evidence to suggest it is. Look at the Champions League.

Only Leicester City are still in it while a Manchester City side who have spent £500million are out to a side from a so-called inferior league.

The record of English clubs in Europe has been abysmal in recent years compared to the likes of Spain and Germany.

People can knock the Scottish game but there’s also so much to like.

Look at the Hibs v Dundee United game last week. I love the Friday night games anyway but this was was a cracker. Yes, it was blood and thunder but it was entertaining, from the action on the pitch, to the dugouts and the tremendous atmosphere in the stands.

That’s what football is all about. People will talk about the Old Firm and that is naturally a huge part of the landscape of Scottish football.

Even when there’s a huge gap between the sides like now it’s still thrilling.

Celtic v Rangers clashes are still a massive draw for fans

But there’s more to Scottish football than just Celtic and Rangers and I think BT Sport get that.

Like I said, the money side is nothing to do with me but there is a real willingness to back the game in Scotland.

They have been thrilled by the response to the coverage and understandably want to continue with it, which can only be good news.

There is demand again for Scottish football and it can only result in more revenue coming in.

Sutton would be delighted if BT decides to invest more in the Scottish game

The more money means more quality and better investment and even better product.

The game is on the up and up. The big clubs are coming back after some difficult times. We’ve been through the worst and it wasn’t that bad.

Now we’re come out the other end and it will only get better.

I think BT Sport has been good for Scottish football and Scottish football has been good for BT Sport.

It sounds like a winning combination to me.

I'm really starting to like Chris Sutton!

He does try too hard to be controversial  at times, but overall he's a good pundit.

What he said about games not being the best standard but definitely not dull is exactly what I said about the United v Hibs game last week. Really enjoyed watching it.

I think Sutton has toned down his arsehole behaviour slightly. He certainly is always defending and talking up the Scottish game, which is a breath of fresh air.

BT and sky getting into any sort of bidding war for the TV rights is brilliant news. BT certainly offer the better coverage in my eyes (plus I get it for buttons).

It's not even close. BT are far superior now. Would be great to see them getting the lot.

His nephews have the Gaelic as well.

I would love to ditch Sky for BT.  Ok, I'm gonna ditch Sky anyway, but if BT wanted to put a lot of money into Scottish football they'd get my groat.
