After all the sporting integrity guff being spouted, it is only showing that these clubs see Rangers and Celtic as a pay day, and not an opportunity to try and compete. I'd gladly see 2 of the 3 relegated over this nonsense, and the other the following season. Did the computer randomly generate an old firm fixture at new year? They'll also be getting double the income through the extra bigger crowds/tv money. We just want fairness. It's got feck all to do with the old firm's cash. We announced our debt free status last season and we haven't played a Glasgow based 'Rangers' since 2008. We don't need your blue pennies. dipped flake
I know the guy who does the fixtures for all the leagues in the UK, apart from the Scottish Premiership for some reason. Anyway, fixtures are produced by a very complex program but then there is loads of manual work involved, where the likes of the police, councils get their say on what games can't happen on a certain day. For our premiership, I guess we have the same thing, except it will be up to celtic/rangers to decide when their games are played
