zynio26
What is it about the bald, roided look that Poles think is so amazing? I am Polish but I do not think is amazing so really can not answer. I have to say tough there was recently an article on BBC soemwehere about Bigorexia in the UK and I have founded it especially for u, there u go http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/active/mens-health/11881644/Bigorexia-are-gym-obsessed-men-suffering-from-a-disorder.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-84228/Why-men-victims-bigorexia.html
zynio26
There was polish fans ejected from the stadium in Dublin for overly aggressive behaviour. There was polish fans arrested in the stadium due to assaulting an irish police officer during the ireland game as he tried confiscate a flare from a group of polish fans.I have TehreT There will be always incidents. I think what it is the sheer number of away fans who are quite vocal and that is the problem, some fans are just anxious. Nothing to do with actual physical violence. but have a look at this video England Poland 2012 ''Back to your scummy Country'' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQO5hBLX8y4

saintlyscot
How are polish hooligans suddenly some surprise? The SFA and the police messed up. A shame for all those affected but that's where responsibility lies. Anyone who remembers the super cops with military vehicles and hardware escorting the TA back to Bydgoszcz for their safety years ago (more guns than TA) would know that there might be a problem now more Polish.are living in the UK and Poland has become affluent enough for others to travel. There are problems at every game they play. On the other hand the SFA are managing to organises a ticket pickup in faro to avoid the criminal scourge that is point harvesting? Remember that game. Polish casuals were very hostile towards anything that moved around the ground, particularly the police. Nae bother before or after game on the pubs tho. You seem to be getting this thread and taking it as an insult to all polish fans and Poland.....which it is not You seem to find it hard to accept that there is a small bad element in the polish fan base.....so we will leave it at that Good luck tonight

Nothing to do with actual physical violence. but have a look at this video England Poland 2012 ''Back to your scummy Country'' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQO5hBLX8y4 We all know that things happen at football. This board is usually full of incidents of anti-social behaviour from fellow fans after a game. We are not a bunch of shrinking violets or angels- I have been all round the world following Scotland so know what it is like. That said I have never encountered away fans that behaved as poorly within the stadium as the Polish fans. I know not all are like that but there were clearly a higher percentage of roasters in the Polish support than other travelling fans. We have had plenty of other large groups such as the German's, Dutch and Czechs who didn't behave like this. We did obviously have issues when England played but they were outside the ground. I would however also blame the pathetic policing and stewarding which if it had been more effective could have nipped some of the issues in the bud. Caledonian Craig
Another thing I found distinctly unpleasant was when the group doing a walk for Ally McLeod for Alzheimer's and they were announced I heard boos coming up from the Poles. iainmac1
There is an awful lot of 'bad atmosphere, didn't feel right' etc etc here. There were small isolated incidents yes but that has happened plenty of times before. It wasn't half as bad as people are making out. If feeling uneasy is the worst that happen then you need to reevaluate the dramatics from some people here. I think it created a good atmosphere. And yes they had flares but big deal no one was hurt. As I have mentioned I had to leave before half time as a result - I have never encountered anything remotely like it in watching football for more years than I care to remember
