tartanpar
Seeded teams play away first.... If we are unseeded ..and we make it ...first leg will be at home.... That is not true From article 15.1 in the UEFA 2016 regulations. "The four ties are determined by draw, including the order of the two legs of each tie." http://www.uefa.org/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/uefaorg/Regulations/02/03/92/81/2039281_DOWNLOAD.pdf Edited September 15, 2015 by tartanpar
Orraloon
The play off draw is on 18th Oct. Just hope we are in it. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/finals/draws/index.html

DoonTheSlope
Got mine in. Could even be for a friendly in Amsterdam looking at current standings. I've took a week off for the first legs. It was a 50/50 gamble what I took. One things for sure though there'll be a few "bugs" going around in November

One things for sure though there'll be a few "bugs" going around in November I had 6 days still to take this year. Wed, Thur, Fri & Mon, Tues, Wed. Happy to go to the away leg if it comes to a choice.
tartanpar
Thankfully I have managed to keep 4.5 days back for November. Even if we dont make the play off I imagine two friendly games in November are quite likely.

One home and one away is what I expect (last time we missed out on the play offs we played USA at home and Norway away).

DoonTheSlope
Saying that we're still due Denmark a friendly after they came to us in 2011. Circa £2.50 a pint in the Scottish pub when I was over there a fortnight ago

Probably but this is taken from Uefa "The eight remaining third-placed teams will contest play-offs over two legs to determine the last four qualifiers for the finals in France. Those eight teams will be divided into two groups of seeded and non-seeded teams, based on the UEFA national team coefficient rankings. Each fixture will see a seeded team play against a non-seeded team, with the first team drawn to play the first leg at home." If they are seperated due to seeding and the first team drawn will always play at home ...wont they know if its unseeded or seeded thats playing at home every time as they will have to pick from seperate pots ... Toepoke
They like to complicate it don't they! Maybe all 8 teams will be in the same pot? If two seeds (or non seeds) are pulled out the second team drawn becomes the home team in the next fixture and they draw another ball out... They will probably pick a ball first from the seeded bowl and second from the unseeded for the first tie and then do it the reverse for the second tie. So the end outcome will be 2 seeded teams and 2 unseeded teams will play at home first.
Glasgowmancity
They'll pick one seeded & one unseeded - put them in an empty bowl (without opening them) then shoogle them around and pick them out the 2nd bowl. The first team drawn will then be at home first
