Eisegerwind
Obviously too tall to be proper sprinter.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thOhA5E_vzc
tartandon
The big man runs 9.87, yet Cram et al say that 'wasn't very good' I think you'll find it's streets ahead of anybody else who has never failed a drugs test. All the US sprinters who are running fast this year are all proven drug cheats. Bolt and Michael Johnson are streets ahead of anybody else in the history of sprinting. All the other top sprinters in the last 40 years have had drug smears. Carl Lewis is lucky they didn't test for HGH and nandrolone when he was running. phart
Lewis failed a test at the US trials and it was covered up. No doping controls 7 months prior to London Olympics for Jamaican team though, whistleblowers, investigations etc

Yes, but doesn't that just make it less believable?
tartandon
Yes, but doesn't that just make it less believable? I choose to believe in the dream that the big man is clean
Boynze
Bolt must be clean, for me the best sportsman this century. It would eclipse the Armstrong scandal if he was doping, and destroy must peoples faith in anything good and pure in the world.

Deeklipse
Heard an interesting piece where Kim Collins was saying that 100m isn't that interesting anymore as all the best guys avoid each other like boxers.
Denny's Yard
Heard an interesting piece where Kim Collins was saying that 100m isn't that interesting anymore as all the best guys avoid each other like boxers.Read that, interesting and there is a bit of that going on.But there is just one international athletics governing body and they have a set calendar of meets. So not really like boxing which, from what I have seen, is a complete farce. Edited July 29, 2015 by Denny's Yard

macy37
Do folk really think that anyone lining up today is clean? I don't.
Parklife
Do folk really think that anyone lining up today is clean? I don't. The sycophants in the media chugging over Bolt are hilarious. The "saviour of Athletics" narrative is particularly amusing.

fringo
Drug cheats should be banned for life then this sort of pish wouldn't happen - Bolt saved the sport accord to one bbc journalist, If they all feel strongly about it - athletes, ex-athletes, journalists, media, politicians etc , then why don't they apply more pressure on IOC or IAAF or whoever allows them back at all. Same for cycling and any other sport - life ban.
