EddardStark
I was a little apprehensive about watching this film. Not that keen on these type of action movies which tend to have an under current of patriotic chest beating. But I really thought it was a superb watch. Anyone seen it? Coldo
Seen it a few times, really good film and not too "glamourised". What amazes me most, along with Band of Brothers is the amount of minor actors in both that are now superstars or well established actors. Flora MaDonald
The only film I've seen in my life was ET, but I enjoyed Black Hawk Down.

kmcca5
Cracking film and brilliant book n'all. The guy that wrote it also penned a great book about Pablo Escobar http://www.amazon.co.uk/Killing-Pablo-Richest-Powerful-Criminal/dp/0857891499well worth a read. McDange
Brilliant film - easily in my Top 10. And the best thing about it is that it's not the usual "America saves the day" action flick we are so used to. Good documentary on this too if folk have an hour to kill
Coldo
And the best thing about it is that it's not the usual "America saves the day" action flick we are so used to. Yeah, in Black hawk down its Pakistan who ride in and save the day!
ParisInAKilt
Probably seen most of the action scenes in work over months of it been on but never actually sat down and watched it all.
MacTaz
Excellent film. Based on actual events. The two US Rangers who fast roped down to the crashed chopper to protect the trapped crew had some" testicular fortitude ". How must that feel, running out of ammo with thousands of nutters high on drugs coming in kill you ? And the bit at the end where they have to tab back to the football stadium cos the convoy has left them behind .... running for your life ...with your arse going Tanner , half a croon, tanner half a croon !!
