Zicoladud
I emailed the SSC a copy of my flight confirmation and my concerns over people applying for tickets who have no intention of travelling to keep their points artificially high. I also asked them if they planned a 100% pick up, all they said was that they acknowledged my concerns and would communicate how they will distribute tickets nearer the time. I would encourage anyone who also shares my concern to also email them, i used the following address supporters@scottishfa.co.uk i dont arrive till day of game no time to pick up. need to harvest for gib

Orraloon
My jokes may be shite but they amuse some of the older clientele.. radian's response amused me even more. That's why he got an extra . I'm still not sure that he has managed to understand your wee agricultural joke.

Different set of circumstances, as we had a big support that day. I understand the location of the ticket pick up in 2007 was not the best. I agree jamie the SSC need to make it easy for us, i.e. a central location so to limit the inconvenience. thewelk
The tickets will be dirt cheap wont they? Why the need for points though? If we get to the Euros there will be plenty of tickets going around. No French people in Bordeaux with tickets for the Scotland v Iceland group B match will give a flying f*ck about going.

It is not as big an issue as some would have you believe. There are not thousands of people buying tickets for a point. Some just like a good moan, it's an age thing

peever1745
If you take the time to watch the after match clips in Dublin and see how many Scots fans stayed back at the end when most of the Irish fans had left you will be surprised at how many Scots where in the stadium.I would 20,000 easily in Dublin that weekend. Most in the ground and quite a few thousand watching in the pubs.

Robroysboy
french will buy tickets to sell to fans at premium - 98 there was families selling their tickets in bordeaux competing with the touts Would rather not use black market, but like most of the TA will consider that avenue if necessary. I am finding it strange UEFA promoting ticket sales where you are buying blind, i.e. you don't know who the teams will be. Surely these tickets will be sold on in the black market at a premium. tartanpar
I think they said today that there had been 4 million applications received. Many people are happy to go to a tournament game whoever is playing (not for me personally). It is normal that they sell tickets a year in advance. I think phase one just now there are only 1 million tickets available.
