Flora MaDonald
We've been extremely honourable over this. Blatter got into power in '98, and we've nae been back since.
Ally Bongo
If Scotland boycotted the WC - nobody would care If Scotland boycotted the WC with England then there would be discomfort for FIFA but it would still go on If Scotland boycotted the WC with England, Germany, France, Italy & Spain then there would be change France & Spain both supported Blatter so that wont be happening Similarly cant see UEFA organising a European boycott with France and Spain in their membership not to mention Russia Leave it to the Yanks
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Surely we have to stage some sort of protest next week at Qatar game. Even if it is everyone bringing along a homemade placard saying Blatter Out.

Don't go. This game is a farce too and only helps support the sham. The game shouldn't have been agreed and should be boycotted. As people are going I think a strong, visible protest would be good though.

Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
I'm going, but that doesn't mean I don't care about what Fifa and Qatar are getting away with. Would prefer a protest than sitting on my hands keeping quiet.

dezmondo
I'm taking nothing to do with this match, I won't even watch the highlights. I know it's not the players faults it's happening but I just find it disgusting we are entertaining this mob.

King Of Paisley
All of the events of this week highlight the crass stupidity of the SFA cosying up to the Qataris, particularly when the issue about the deaths of migrant workers building the stadiums is deliberately being covered up. Then again, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to Regan and Co. As for a WC boycott, I'm all for it myself if it forced change and helped towards a bidding re-run for WC 2022. Reality is that it won't happen if France, Spain and Russia backed Blatter. The only way it would happen is if the sponsors tore up their contracts en masse but can't see it happening to be honest. The whole thing is a stinking rotten mess.
RabtheBruce
There is no way we should boycott the WC if Scotland qualify. I would walk to Russia to see us play at a WC!

Bzzzz
Unfortunately we are not in the position where we can trust the SFA to do anything right. I'd say it was our job to sort that out,we need a restructure but at board level. In the meantime all we can do is support our national side. I don't know anyone that thinks positively about the SFA, says it all eh?
Ally Bongo
How about UEFA withdrawing They continue to have the European Championships but also hold another European Championships 2 years later with invites to other countries of the World , Brazil & Argentina etc ? Possible ?

LewisEDI
i would expect there will be some form of protest at the game, to what extent i dont know, could be a pitch invasion, could be someone dressed up as an arab with a bloodied world cup or a heap of fake money chucked on to the pitch or just a drunk jake with a megaphone, not giving anyone any ideas btw haha (disclaimer) also there is a reasonable sized nepalese population in scotland (and the UK) which has to be considered too Edited May 30, 2015 by LewisEDI
Green_Tide_Rising
I suggest ye all Boycott the Ireland game as a warm up Seriously though - Football is rotten to the core Listening to Platini the other day made me sick.....his hands are far from Clean , nor are UEFA's Unfortunately I dont too many of our national associations are innocent of guilt either Edited May 30, 2015 by Green_Tide_Rising
