Andy North Croy
Then on Sunday BT Sport showing Darmstadt v St. Pauli.............ironic that HSV might fall into the 2nd Division while their noisy neighbours (and far sexier club) St. Pauli might fall into 3rd Division......best leagues in Europe, bar none!!. Toepoke
3rd bottom goes into a play off too. It would take a huge goal difference swing to relegate Hertha but they could end up in the play-offs...
aaid
Watching this now but they are really missing a trick in not putting Die Konferenz on, absolutely made for this situation and great viewing. Tomorrow's should be even more exciting as there are promotion and relegation places at stake.
aaid
Ah, as the goals are going in, that's pretty much what they are doing.
EddardStark
Hamburg avoid automatic relegation with a 2-0 over Schalke. Now in relegation play off with yet to be decided second tier team.

macy37
So sorry for Freiburg.Best manager ever. Schalke and Horst Heldt are a disgrace. An a fantastic old school stadium too. The home defeat to Paderborn couple weeks back was the nail in their coffin sadly.

Menschlich
They're not safe yet... I know. I thought they would finish rock bottom a couple of months ago though. They've been circling the drain for a while now. Maybe they will be the last Bundesliga team to be relegated.

aaid
Anyone watching the playoff? Karlsruhe 2-1 up going into the final minute, HSV about to get relegated for the first time. Referee gives the a free kick on the edge of the box for the most blatant case of ball to hand I've seen in a long time, never a foul in a million years. Hamburg score from the free kick to level the tie. Just going into extra time now.
mariokempes56
Watching it. No free kick , but, but put men on posts ffs...shocking.
