Clyde1998
I can't agree with the death penalty - it's double standards to murder someone who commits murder. Life imprisonment would be a bigger, harsher penalty - the death penalty is the easy way out. Edited May 15, 2015 by Clyde1998

Guest flumax
Creates a martyr. Surprised ax Massachusetts is one of the more liberal states. He'll be on death row for twenty years. it was a federal case. Mass doesn't have death sentence. Not sure I understand how the state is not fighting federal in how one of its citizens is being treated against state law. Odd
Nobby
Sentenced to death. I actually quite like American justice sometimes. Nope, the death sentence is wrong. Don't get me wrong there's times when you think it's what is required but ultimately you are kind of bringing yourself down to their level, which IMHO is to be avoided . I used to be of the same mindset but i now believe i am wrong There should be certain crimes where a higher judicial supremo can authorise the death sentence for people who for their crimes committed do not deserve to be part of our society I could give examples but i am sure you will be aware of them The Boston Bomber however is not one of them

Ally Bongo
Really? I'll never agree with the death penalty. It's not the role of the state to kill its citizens, ever. As i said - i used to be of that mindset but no longer A similar case of the wee Irish girl will be upcoming Supposedly the accused premediated going out that night, drugging someone, taking them home, raping them, killing them and then disposing them in a barrel of chemicals and trying to get away with it so they could do it again By committing an act such as this they forfeit their right to be in our society There is absolutely no point in incarcerating someone in prison for the rest of their life for such an act - that would be inhuman An injection is the easist answer
