radian_13
Is a stadium ban not after a few incidents? Usually just a section of the stadium closed. Can't see it happening though. Can't wait for this away trip

Dalgety Bay TA
Did UEFA not force Zenit St Petersburg to play behind closed doors, and Bayern fans had to watch the game from a penthouse in a hotel behind the stadium? CSKA Moscow and empty office space.
Robroysboy
Serbia punishment was for rioting, was it linked to the genoa incident? Hardly comparable to some fans running on a pitch.
adamntg
Didn't AEK Athens have to play Dundee Utd behind closed doors but United fans were let in? I remember friends telling me they were bussed to the ground through a hail of bricks.

I remember friends telling me they were bussed to the ground through a hail of bricks. Ha ha. We played the game at Olympiakos's stadium and it's correct that they didn't allow any AEK fans to enter, only United fans. However, there was no hail of half bricks. Didn't see a single bit of bother (or a single AEK fan for that matter). Although we had half the Greek army escorting us so that might have been why... 4WINSATWEMBLEY
Just in case it ends up a closed door game. Would a wee note to the Georgian Press along the lines of:- We had a great time in Tblisi with your fans last time and enjoyed your hospitality, even though we were beaten, on the night. Also we are looking forward to our next visit and hope the game is played with both sets of fans present. Just a thought. Regards 4WINS
ULSTERSCOTAS
HI ALL, IF THIS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS SANCTION IS APPLIED THEN THE DECISION MUST BE LEGALLY CHALLENGED ON THE BASIS THAT THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR DENYING SCOTTISH SUPPORTERS ENTRY. THE GEORGIAN FA SHOULD BE OBLIGED TO MAKE AN ALLOCATION OF TICKETS TO THE SFA AS PER NORMAL ARRANGEMENTS.
Jagtag
The Georgian fans were some of the best I've ever come across. Not one of them tried to rub in the fact they beat us. Most wished us well against Italy and we're a little embarrassed that they had beaten us. Thoroughly decent people. when I went back for a couple of weeks everyone I met talked about how great the TA were and how much they want to see us come back. Just incase this happens, wea that the line the IFA took with Serbia/UEFA with the closed door game in Belgrade. IIRC you were offered Europa League Final tickets in lue of Serbia entry, was that the case? J

J Was it not limited to 200 fans only, with those who decide not to travel offered Europa League final tickets? I think the IFA had to fight tooth and nail to get any away fans allowed in to the game (sure they also wanted compensation from UEFA over it)
