ProudScot
Since Chris Martin got injured the Goals have dried up for Derby and they have gone from 1st to 5th. They need him back soon or it could be too much to claw back. The difference between 1st and 5th in the championship in recent weeks has been 1 point! Jagtag
The difference between 1st and 5th in the championship in recent weeks has been 1 point! It's 5 points now but their form is so poor then they will struggle to pull that back If the gap grows.

PASTA Mick
Griffiths should have been in the squad tonight. Forrest had a storming game tonight.
Robroysboy
Forrest had a storming game tonight. Yet to do it in a Scotland shirt, but he has shown he can play at the champions league level for his club. So heres hoping James he can do it for WGS. Caledonian Craig
Sorry folks but Leigh Griffiths (to me) is much like Chris Martin. I have seen him a few times for Scotland and am far from impressed and I'd sooner we looked elsewhere. Even in games in SPL he shows slices of glaring rankness. Not impressed. Sorry fans of his but that is how I see it.

I was suprised he didn't make this squad but competition for places is fierce.
scottishedgar
I certainly wouldn't say competition for places up front is fierce!
LewisEDI
http://gfycat.com/InconsequentialWatchfulFerret his movement is terrific, ok against shite defenders but he is making great runs these days and finishing well most of the time. get him in. LewisEDI
Even in games in SPL he shows slices of glaring rankness. Not impressed. he scored almost 30 goals in a absolutely rank hibs team in a season and has a ratio of about 1 in 2 throughout his whole career. you cant ask for more than that. LewisEDI
Does he deseve to be called up to the squad if McCormack pulls out? I think so wouldnt be suprised if GMS is called up instead if Mcormack is injured, actually i would expect that. i dont think strachan classes Mcormack as a striker as such

Caledonian Craig
Bit likes Rhodes and fletcher too.Eh no.At least Rhodes has shown he knows where the net is for Scotland (yet to be convinced by him though like I said elsewhere) and Fletcher does more for us in a team sense helping to knit together attacks and setting up goals. Griffiths has shown none of those traits for us. He is no different from Martin who gets slated on here so lets be consistent eh? It is true that Griffiths may get a call-up if one of our strikers in the squad drops out but dont get a hard-on it is merely a sad indictment on how short we are of true quality strikers at the moment.
