northernscum
Ooops! He expected to be able to claim the credit without being called out by the people who actually put the work in? I wonder if he will justify this or just pretend it didn't happen, like Dugdale with her Chinese steel tweet!

King Of Paisley
Scunnered - I was thinking the same. The poor lassie will be fed to the lions. No doubt the audience and fellow panel members will be gagging for an anti-SNP wankfest.

Scunnered
If so it may be a masterstroke putting a 20 year old girl on the panel... Unless she has the temperment of your average 20 year old girl from the West coast of Scotland...
Stapes
Unless she has the temperment of your average 20 year old girl from the West coast of Scotland... And judging by her tweets she does.
stocky
She has 'Balls' and I don't see her taking any Shite..... talking shite, well that's a different matter....... we will see. Labour in Paisley are shitting it, throwing lots of people an resources into this fight, taking them from elsewhere,,, So she is the Jamie Douglas in this battle.. so to speak... scotlad
Scunnered - I was thinking the same. The poor lassie will be fed to the lions. No doubt the audience and fellow panel members will be gagging for an anti-SNP wankfest. Apparently she is a very good public speaker who did some great work during the referendum campaign. A daft wee lassie she ain't. Even so, I've no doubt the BBC will try and do a number on her: expect audience plants, loaded questions, Dimbleby interruptions, other panellists rounding on her etc. All standard stuff on Question Time nowadays for that week's 'outsider'. Ideally, a more experienced representative might have been preferable but there is some national interest (in a UK sense) too - if she wins the seat she will be the youngest elected Westminster MP in 200 years. Dougie Alexander losing his seat would be the equivalent of a thousand Portillo moments. He really is a horrible, horrible wee guy.
King Of Paisley
Stocky - no doubt the complete khunt that is Jim Sheridan will no doubt be involved. Complete scumbag of a man - urged bosses to bully their employees into voting No.
Scunnered
Speaking of audience plants, I haven't heard whether my application has been successful or not
King Of Paisley
Scotlad - your second paragraph is spot on. I'm half expecting a bullying thug like Ian Davidson to be parachuted in by a compliant state broadcaster with the instruction of being a complete attack dog towards Mhairi. I couldn't comment on whether Mhairi is a daft wee lassie or not - I'll take the Daily Liecord muckracking about some of her tweets with a pinch of salt. From what I have heard, at the local hustings she was an outstanding speaker and knew her stuff. Whether she can reach out to the blue rinse, Tory voting brigade in the Ralston, Hawkhead and Oldhall districts is another question.

Toepoke
whether she can out to the blue rinse, Tory voting brigade in the Ralston, Hawkhead and Oldhall districts is another question. That's Sheridan's constituency I believe so she won't need to bother...
Scunnered
Daily Liecord that's a new one. I'll add it to the list along with Red Tories, Wastemonster, Liebour and the rest.
King Of Paisley
Toepoke - you are right. It is Sheridan's beat, after all. Flora - spot on. That said, Alexander's seat takes in the likes of areas like Johnstone, Spateston etc. They will not forgive watching the likes of Alexander dancing with the Tories during the referendum. All will depend on how Mhairi Black pitches the SNP case locally. Really, really hoping that wee is signing on May 8th.
