Squirrelhumper
I stay in city centre, about 150 yards from Tollbooth. I'll be going away that day.

Big Col
article says wetherspoons have 9 pubs in Glasgow - the only one i can think of with the big screens in the crystal palace.

Donaldo87
Only 9? Feels like there are 9 in the city centre alone
Charlie Endell
I think it is. Can't remember if one in Shawlands has TVs. What a hellhole that place is - no excuse needed to start a fight in there. I used to live in Eastwood Avenue and it was mental at the weekend when all the bams exited at the end of the night. Wetherspoons are the pubs of Satan anyway.
OLAS
They have decent ales and a good selection of world beers. Definitely not the worst pubs I've been to.
northernscum
Won't be long now until Murdo McLeod, Chick Young & co go into old firm overdrive. Slavering and gushing about just how much we* have missed this quaint little fixture and despite the the guaranteed grief before, during and after the game they will try to convince us that it must become a regularthing again as soon as possible. I simply CAN wait

EddardStark
I personally would rather we did not have this game coming up. Its a distraction from what really matters for the club. In fact that weekend Hibs and Hearts will be playing league matches so the pressure will be ramped up. I could have a chance of ticket but I wont take it. PaulS2014
If I owned a pub in Glasgow that day I wouldn't let either set of fans in never mind show it on the telly. Will be utter carnage that day and not worth the potential hassle. Good move by Wetherspoon's in my opinion.
adamntg
The one at Anniesland has tellies doesn't it?
Redz
likely a business decision , no wrecked pubs and more normal customers and folk who don't want to be annoyed with this game ie :- quiet pint.Yes, absolutely. Is it not sad that they've felt compelled to make this decision though? I mentioned perception and guilty by association in another thread. This is it as far as Glasgow is concerned. Shamefully there are a few who will see this as some sort of 'result.'
