Squirrelhumper
Really starting to enjoy this whole Armageddon. So that's Utd, Killie & Aberdeen wiped out their debt without having to die? Pleasing.
Haggis_trap
The rangers fans wet dream of AFC or Celtic going bankrupt looks ever less likely.... :-))

Squirrelhumper
Of course it's anti-Armageddon When Rangers died, the Daily Record, Jim Traynor and seemingly the whole of rangersmedia got themselves into a wankfest that 5 clubs were going to die directly as a result of the new rangers not being parachuted into the top league I believe the Daily Record had 5 clubs on their back page as going into admin within weekes. Pretty sure three of them were Killie, Utd & Aberdeen. All three have wiped out their bank debt and Rangers are getting monthly loans to pay the wages, whilst fans boycott. If I knew Armageddon was going to be this good, I'd have signed up sooner.
EddardStark
Are Aberdeen fans making any moves towards fan ownership ? This is something Rangers fans are slowly but surely moving towards through Rangers First.
davetenerife
Good news for the no voting shitebags. So were ALL of the Celtic faithful making a noise during the minutes silence
EddardStark
Strange days when fans celebrate winning the debt free cup whilst sucking on the teet of the rangers and Celtic. If I knew Armageddon was going to be this good, I'd have signed up sooner. I remember when the whole rangers thing happened. Stephen Thompson said it would adversly affect utd and he was worried about the impact. he said at the time we would need to cut our cloth and sell players to compensate. Thankfully we had a chairman and owner who did not do walking away and stuck with it through thick and thin until we were finally able to reap the rewards of the youth system and restructure the debt to clear it at the bank. A tougher option than either one of 1) offloading a basket case business for £1 or 2) not paying tax, vat and millions of £'s of debt and going into admin (while still fielding a team winning cups and leagues and bragging about it) if you ask me. Great days indeed Aberdeen haven't played Rangers in three years and they just cut Celtics allocation in half.Miley Cyrus has bigger tits than that!!! North East Loon
Some bitter people on the back of news that another Scottish football club is due to be in better financial status, hopefully it happens to more clubs can only be better for our game. SMcoolJ
I'm right, accept it and go back to wall ties. Enough o' yer bitterness - away and change your signature! The Dons - paying taxes since 1903.
Kenneth Farrington
Guid stuff. You only need to look at Sunday to see what a competitive Aberdeen bring to the party. They seem to be producing a decent number of youngsters now - hopefully this can start earning them some decent money over time as well. Larky Masher
Enough o' yer bitterness - away and change your signature! Why? The signature is still accurate, the club is being kept afloat by charity.

deecie
What debt is that then? Much like Dundee United, Heart and Kilmarnock (to name 3 greats of Scottish Football), Aberdeen Football Club has no debt and over 4 years unbroken history.
