Going to be in Edinburgh for the opening game, can anyone recommend good central pubs to watch the game (staying in the premier Inn on Princes St)

Might be better getting the train to somewhere that has other Scottish folk in it?ย ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

There are 2 places that market themselves as such :

ย

Belushis - small place but plenty screens - would need booked.ย
ย

Three Sisters - Massive place with a beer garden - would need booked. Can be quite rough.ย

Great wee boozer and has a very scottish theme

Does it even have tv's?......

Its more a restaurant, or somewhere you go to grab a pint, but can not recall there ever being sport on the go while visiting it.

Ignore the inevitable reverse snobbery further up the thread, Edinburgh's great, but we just like people to wash occasionally (which is what the weegies above complain about).

Pear Tree worth a shout

The Globe on Niddrie Street

Malones (both of them, Leith and Haymarket)

Platform five is ok

Belushis is good too, bit chain-y

Black Bull in the Grassmarket

Grovesnor on Shandwick Place

Scotts, The Queens Arms, Milnes, Amber Rose on or around Rose Street

The Chanter on Bread St, Innis and Gunn tap room on Lothian Road

Angel's Share is meant to be good if you're looking for something posher

Good long list there. Any chance you might find a Scot in any of them though? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Nah Lothian road innis and Gunn doesnโ€™t and neither does angels share. ย Neither has Tvs.

Innis and Gunn taprooms have screens for big events like 6Ns, be very surprised if they donโ€™t do it for the Scotland games in the euros

Angels Share do similar Iโ€™m told, not been in there to watch.

Edit - Innis and Gunn on Lothian road is doing it, the one in Leith isnโ€™t.
