I know the draw for pots haven’t taken place yet but are there any statos out there who have calculated if we are in pot 2 or 3. From my understanding, this doesn't correlate with the seedings in any group with the exception of Germany who are A1. So you could be top seed in group D, but end up being allocated D4. We can't get pot 1 now as Spain equalled our result in Glasgow and they are plus 7 in goal difference with two minnows to play next Cyprus and Georgia. Unless I’ve made an arse of it somewhere, 4 points might still be enough for Pot 2 if Austria don’t better our goal difference - they’re +8 and we’re +9. Thanks for this. You are spot on I’ve just read the official draw procedure on UEFA website. I’m just going to plunk for the cities I’d like to visit and see what happens. If we win 3-2 we are level of GD and goals scored. Then it goes to away goals. We both have 7 away goals. Unless we are allowed to count McTs "goal" in Spain 😉 Then it goes to higher number of wins. We would both have 6. Then it goes to away wins they have 3 to our 2. I think it's just between us and Austria really? But not sure. Azerbaijan could take points off Belgium, I suppose? I doubt there's actually much difference between two and three, the thing that will make groups massively diffult is if you get a pot 4 team like Italy, Croatia or Poland.
