  1. Another positive was that the new ticket system seemed to be an improvement....
  2. This type of question has been posted many times (usually in relation to children who don't have phones). Assuming he is attending with someone with a phone the answer is in the FAQ linked in your ticket email Hampden Park Ticket App | Scotland National Team | Scottish FA
  3. I completely missed the fact that you have to buy individual tickets up front as well! I just assumed those would be released 2/3 weeks prior to each game SCC first, then public.
  4. My understanding of his argument is that he had 11 points and attended all home games bar one (probably Poland game). There are others who bought tickets for all games but didn't attend them all who are on 12 points. They got first stab at Euro tickets while those on 11 had to sweat it out. If this new system for home games means tickets are non transferable and it is actually recording if the ticket is used or not then the points totals of quite a few are going to start to drop.... As is evident above, this is largely irrelevant for a lot of people who don't travel to away games and they don't seem to understand the issue.
  5. Pretty sure this has been covered else where but that's my reading of it. Good could luck proactively organising something for that! Campervan seems the best option to me.
  6. So is your suggestion that no seats are allocated and it is a free for? That would be a nightmare! The issue most are having was the inability to book tickets as one booking so people have ended up in different Categories. We have two FF and one Cat 3 ticket for both Germany and Hungry game. I am happy to link order with anyone and then arrange a swap on the day if we are all in the same stand (ie you can walk between the seats).
  7. I may be wrong, but I suspect the OP son is not under 18, otherwise the orders would be linked? That said, I think the tone of this thread was more about sitting with your mates and ignoring seat allocation. This may be fine with a half empty stand, but all these games are sell outs so the knock on effect of a bunch of people moving impacts everyone.
  8. I agree. We organised ourselves and will probably only be marginally cheaper than their quoted price. For us it would have been a bit of a gamble waiting for their package, but certainly looks like a great deal for anyone who has not booked up yet! And no, I'm not on commission!
  9. Totally agree. Considering all sections are sold out for the Euros I find it surprising how insular some of the views are!
  10. I think we all agree that UEFA pricing, particularly for the opening game, is nuts. Considering how much revenue comes from TV, Sponsors and Corporate it is sicking. However to play Devils advocate... I would rather that the expensive tickets were made available to SSC members than the open market. I don't know the numbers for France 98, but I suspect the allocated tickets were considerably less than 10k especially for the opening game (I had 1.8k in my head but can't find any reference to that). We have 6.5k tickets under €200 for a "marque" [sic] game. Looking at the other two games, some were quoting that historically we would get between 12-16% of the ground capacity. Even if you take the upper limit of that for Stuttgart and Cologne it is less than 10K. Personally I don't think it would be that hard for UEFA to delay public sales of tickets to allow the qualified nations a much larger share but then I could envisage there would be a few less attractive games with empty seats.
  11. I think the suggestion (or if it wasn't this would be a possibility) is that you could use the seat together option and then if Cat 3 and FF were in the same area you could just swap seats in the ground. No harm linking your order to a random and then when you get the seating plan on the day sorting out something.
  12. So you bought one of the few tickets available for a mate, thus depriving someone who was eligile. Well played.
  13. The fact he must have emailed and got a response by 13:22 is impressive! I was still coming down from the adrenaline high of securing tickets at that point!
  14. 99% sure they did as there was a screenshot of email response from UEFA. I'd imagine they have been inundated now, but to be fair to UEFA, they have been pretty good so far and hopefully sort it for you!
  15. Pretty sure I read someone post on FB that they, in this scenario, emailed UEFA using one of the links the SFA supplied and it was sorted really quickly.
  16. I know, that's why I was asking what options Tooting Dave had as he just ordered.
  17. Would be interested to know what Cat tickets were left. I would have thought that most 12+ pointers will have ordered by now, so will give a guide to what will be left for tomorrows. I appreciate that a lot of people will not have been able to order at 12, but it would be a good guide.
  18. Just realised that there was no booking fee's either!
  19. but further down in the same email: You will be sent one email containing one Access Code for each match
  20. I thought it was more likely to prevent people selling the code prior to 12:00. Unlikely I know, but there may be people who can't go and would sell their code.
  21. Not sure where you have read that. The official FAQ says: You will be sent one email containing one Access Code for each match. Please note that Access Codes are for the members’ own personal use and cannot be shared or used by someone else.
  22. I agree, however if you didn't just receive the email with subject heading: "SSC: Important EURO 2024 ticket sale information ahead of tomorrow" Then I would get on that today!
