I met a guy in Oslo who had 0 points despite going to most games since the 90s, because he doesn't want to directly give the SFA money or have any of his details on their site.

That means he isn't a member, and the points system doesn't apply to him.

How does he get into most games without paying money to the SFA? Does he climb over the wall?

Ticket collection is all well and good in that it stops some people from harvesting points however some people just give their driving license to their mate and they collect it. Same age - ish and same hair colour - they’ll probably give the ticket. Never done that myself but I’d imagine some do.

Home end tickets are always easy to come by - If you want in to game hard enough you’ll get in I think.

Although that boy sounds like a lot of effort when he could just swallow it and pay the £50 fee hahaha

Do you remember when Safeway used to sell some tickets and people would queue overnight?

Someone on here used to drive up from England and do that - Because he was dead against joining the SSC.

Always remember the dreaded scenario of turning up to Safeway when the tickets go on sale to find out they have already been sold out somehow.

Can anyone remember the 1999, 2000 play off ?

GCC, the glasgow city council were entrusted with distributing the public sale of the hampden tickets vs THEM

Kevin Kegan was in charge the phone lines obviously crashed due to the demand.

All the tickets were sold on the council internal lines.

😡

And were subsequently all cancelled and resold. I know for a fact because someone I knew who worked in the City Chambers used the internal GCC number to buy them for me and the order was subsequently cancelled.

When collecting ticket is Seville I saw 2 guys get refused trying to pick up tix pretending to be their mates who didn't travel. Didn't get any success with SSC staff.
