Dangerous Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 That timing is a shambles! Those on 12 and 11 points (possibly the cut off - who knows) are being asked to log in and and buy around the time that they are away from home supporting Scottish football by attending games - or potentally playing the game. FFS Maxwell and co. - should really do better!! Quote

Jzw85 Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I thought the minimum was 5%. Don’t think I’ll be getting tickets for me and my son. We are on 9 points disaster Quote
Gala Tartan Army (Borders) Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I think its the French FA who have mucked us about here, not Supporters Club. Heard they wanted to give us even less than the figure we finally got so presumably delayed due to these negotiations. Im on 12/13 points so trying to weigh up buying a £68 home end ticket or gamble on away end. Quote

People busy on a weekend, whether it be playing, coaching or supporting their clubs sides. I’ll be at Rugby Park on Sat at that time and there’s often no 4g/5g bandwidth at grounds due to the amount of folk. Quote

Thanks Alfie, exactly what I meant, I'll not be at at Rugby Park but I will be at an SPFL game and my son will be playing in an Amatuer League game. Already been mucked about by SFA for points - computer says no so they can't correct an error so this is getting painful! Edited September 26, 2023 by Dangerous Quote

As we wouldn’t have been in Lille until around 4pm Quote

Was a calculated risk that the friendly would be an easy one to get tickets for but guess that has backfired. Quote
Eassy Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 We reckon this one opens up to 15/16 points then? Surely a good chance if it’s pick up only Quote
Goozay Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 1,680 is stupidly low. Are the French really gonna sell out the stadium? I'm assuming that the points from the Spain game don't count because the match hasn't happened yet? Quote

WeeJohnny Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I really hate slagging off the SFA but this is absolutely stupid. A friendly with less than the mandatory 5% allocation for competitive games. The allocation should have been decided and commited before the friendly was agreed. I am seriously struggling with the logic of playing friendlies with England and France to sandwich a competitive game with Spain. We had the biggest momentum in a generation or more and now risk being heads down going in to the vital last two matches of the campaign. I'm on 12 points. Eurostar booked so gutted by this own goal. Shambles. Quote
WeeJohnny Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Oh and PS anyone else find pop adds on TAMB prohibit you actually reading the posts on the site ? Don't have this with any other site. TAMB administrators - not a gripe at you who do a great job but as the allocation has left me a tad grumpy thought id get it off my chest !!!!🙂 Quote

I was just translating the general point that the other poster was making - about sales taking place middle of a Saturday isn’t ideal. Good to hear that RP has a better phone signal that St.Mirren Park. 😬 Quote

Banjo Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Just over 3% away tickets allocation and £3 to pick up your ticket!! Nae happy Quote
Jzw85 Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I spoke to someone in sfa and they says it’s not mandatory 5% for friendlies and they tried to get more tickets. Didn’t think there would be much interest from home fans for this game Quote

I understand that allocations can be difficult for competitive games but surely for friendlies the allocation can be sorted months in advance to at least save folk booking travel etc Quote
