Scotland Ever More
Looking to get back to Milan for a mid-day flight back to Edinburgh on the Monday. Looks like the last train from Rimini to Milan is about 9ish which probably means we won't make it. First train is about 3am but hardly ideal. Grim Jim
Rimini for me now 😄 If that fails to hold the attention, there are lots of places around worth a day trip. Maybe even San Marino!

Davy bus is leaving just a few hours before kick off so will just travel back on that instead.

The journey is about 95kms from Rimini to San Marino town...you would be better getting the local service bus in and Davy Bus back. Here is the winter timetable. https://www.bonellibus.it/en/linee/nm5b55a0348b11e5-05579130

Leg-End
I’ve booked flights from Heathrow and staying in Rimini Sat to Mon. Any ideas on train prices from the airport? I’m looking at various sites but you can’t book anything that far ahead. Assume you can just jump on at the airport and pay on the day? That’s what bus company quoted...might be distance including getting buses to and from their Depot......local bus takes 50 mins to San Marino town and just over 30mins to the stadium

stirlish
There are good Rimini hotel deals between the railway station and the beach. It's off season, will this area be quiet or should we opt for Rimini town?
Scotland Ever More
We're visiting a few places while we're there. Thursday night in Milan, then down to Rome on Friday morning and up to Rimini from Rome on the Saturday evening. Train back to Milan for the flight home from Rimini early hours of Monday. I've booked 13 of us on the Monday morning 0333 from Rimini to Milan Centrale, take it you are on the 1145 to Edinburgh? Welcome to tag along m8.... Booked the train through Trenitalia and was 36-50 Euros a skull. On the Davy bus after game, pick up stuff at hotel, few pints and train.....that is the plan. Yes that's exactly what our route is too. Davy bus back to Rimini, head to the dancing for a few hours and 3am train back. See you there
